Name: Adelind Ostheim
Age: 23
Sex: Female
Race: Half Fangire
Personality: Always on the lookout for knowledge about the Fangire, you can say that she's obsessed with them. She's calculating, studious, bookish, and somewhat selfish. Still, she has the best interests for humankind in heart, though one has to get through her somewhat cold demeanor to see her good points.
Appearance:
Rider Designation: Saga
Partner: Sagarc
Bio: Adelind was born a half fangire, but she never met her fangire father, having to be raised by her mother, who was diagnosed with a degenerative illness when Adelind was 3. Since she couldn't play with her daughter due to the illness, she gave her books to read and would also read stories to her.
The degenerative illness spread faster than the doctors expected, however, and Adelind was soon left without a mother at the age of 7. Having to live with one of her Uncles, it wasn't long before Adelind had to go with them to Japan, as her uncle's job had her move there. As she became a high school student, she got increasingly frustrated about her heritage and not being able to ask her mother any questions.
It was then that she began a crusade for knowledge about the beasts, getting information about their attacks whenever they cropped up, reading myths and stories that tried to explain their existence, and even going to the scene of where fangire had appeared to look for any clues.
What turned into a search for her origins and father has turned into an obsession, with her becoming a private detective so she could snoop around crime scenes involved in fangire attacks so she wouldn't get sent away by the police. Her current house is filled with all the information she's obtained over the years, and is a bit messy and disorganized because of this.
One day, while investigating a site of a supposed fangire attack, she came across the discarded Sagarc, who was trying to find it's previous master. When tying to grill the device for info, a fangire beset the two of them, and things looked bleak for Adelind...until she was able to henshin with Sagarc and battle the fangire.
After finishing the fight rather quickly, Adelind was ecstatic. Not only could she transform now, but her partner was a rare find indeed. After finding out from Sagarc that only descendants of the first wearer could use it, this gave her a clue as to her father's origins. With this knowledge in hand, her search continues...

Name: Ume Kurenai
Age: Hundreds of years old (appears to be in her early to mid twenties)
Sex: Female
Race: Full Fangire (Crimson Ibis)
Personality: Despite being one of the most powerful Fangire alive, she has a carefree, aloof, and sometimes lazy personality. This doesn't mean she will shirk her duty in dealing with traitorous Fangire or any other duties, but she does seem like she's off in her own little world at times. She of course makes up for this by being absolutely deadly in combat.
Appearance:
Bio: Ume has been Queen for some time now, and is a lot more obedient than she has once been. In her younger years, she cheated on her husband, the King, regularly, and she eventually helped cause the fangire civil war for her unfaithfulness. Her main reasons for doing so was because she wanted a child, something that King would not give her. That is, until she had Aiden. Now getting what she wanted, she settled down, so to speak, and tried to make up for her previous unfaithfulness by going on extermination missions for him of the other races.
Even though she had renewed faith in her King, even that can wane, and she did go on one last fling. However, that fling turned into something more, that being a half fangire child. Knowing that King would more than likely kill the child and punish her, she had no choice but to leave the child at an orphanage.
She has since taken Kiyoshi under her wing to train her to be the next Queen. Though she is rather kind to Kiyoshi and her children, she hates the idea that the users of Kiva and Imperius have to not know about each other. Though she would like for them to meet, she does not want to cause any more trouble for her King, as she still feels guilty for placing her race in such a precarious position during the civil war.
