So, was there a point to a new Overlord being introduced if he is going to die in the same episode.
Sucks how we have to wait for the next episode, Takatora finally makes it back to the city, a new overlord is brought in (hopefully he won't be killed in the same ep), and hopefully Micchy will finally be exposed, cannot wait.

See, they kind of had an excuse with the Horoscopes, in that they had twelve they needed to get to and giving all of them the attention they deserved would've been impossible, but that's not really true of the Overlords.

All the Overlords sans Roshua, Redyue and Deemushu are foot soldiers are anyway, and they are made Overlords just so Gaim has the excuses to whip out Kiwami Arms

Very interesting episode and I can see the theme of the series. What is leadership? Does protecting innocent bystanders count as heroic and what leader should do? Should you do the Kouta way? Or you let them grow by themselves and (sorta) left them to their death in hoping they can grow? Should you do the Kaito way?

And also, the episode, Minato actually asks what Kouta intends to do with his power once his quest to protect everyone is over. What can one do with such power after the threat is gone? I don't see many series (or any) that ask this questions. I hope the series (and Kouta) will give a very satisfying answer

See, they kind of had an excuse with the Horoscopes, in that they had twelve they needed to get to and giving all of them the attention they deserved would've been impossible, but that's not really true of the Overlords.

They kinda have an excuse here. Within the boundaries of the show: Kouta has the Kiwami lockseed which seems to be the most powerful weapon capable of killing overlords. Outside of the show, these new Overlords are more monstrous and more animalistic and closer to the non-sentient animal Inves in terms of form than Redyue/Demusha/Roshuo.

Micchy has got to be a fuckin' idiot to think he can keep this charade so long and it shows.

I can't believe Kiwami Arms kicked Donpachi Hammer. I guess it would be too goofy for a Dai Shogun to wield it.

Ah, Minato. If you don't get along with your new friends, you won't be able to work too well with them in fight. Like what just happened here.

If we're still going by Overlord being counterparts, I'm still thinking that the bird Overlord is Oren's counterpart considering how goofy and dangerous it is.

Speaking of Oren I'm surprised he's still infatuated with Takatora even though Takatora rejected him. :laugh:

Yeah. Kiwami Arms is needed to finish the fight fast. Kachidoki Arms cannot take on two relatively strong enemies at once. Although he could've easily smacked Zangetsu Shin away but he still thought he was Takatora. If he tried to fight the Overlord as Kachidoki Arms, it would take LONGER and Kouta being human will get exhausted while Overlords being evolved lifeforms can last longer.
