Kamen Rider Gaim Ep 26 - "Baron's Genesis Transformation!"

Sigurd was able to knock Gaim out of his Orange Arms with one arrow during their debut and he did it again during their rematch in Episode 21.

I'm sure Energy Riders are THAT strong

2 direct point blank hits vs. a glancing blow at range. Not a fair comparison.

As for Baron's Genesis transformation, can anyone explain to me how Baron's base form was maintained even though the genesis driver doesn't have a face plate?

This actually bugged me for the entire time he was transformed. Why didn't he just turn into Duke? I kinda assumed the Genesis Driver was programmed for him, but we can't be sure since no one said anything.

I assumed that was the "initializing" that Ryouma was talking about, why did Ryouma not allow the Mass Produced Sengoku Drivers to initialize each individual than create a Kurokage template?

I'm starting to think that the base suits are created upon initializing and are locked to a person and will become their default base forms in the same manner on how the Sengoku Driver prevents all side-effects of the lockseeds and also give the nutrients to the user, I'm sure the base suits are like stuck to the user.

In that case, it would make sense for even Gaim who transforms straight into Jinba now, even though he removed the indicator, because the initialization process is probably bound to him somehow.

Or if you look it from behind the scenes, It's because Toei suitbashed a spare Baron and Duke suit due to popular demand for Baron to get an upgrade.

Micchy definitely deserved that slap from Mai....... I used to love him but....... now I'm not so sure, anymore......... >u>"

Also Kaito's Lemon Energy Arms...... it's so sexy *u*

My theory is that the basesuit is pulled from the Genesis Driver user's subconscious. Takatora and Kaito have the same basesuit as their sengoku driver form because it's what they associate with themselves. Ryoma and Yoko both want to rule, so their Energy Rider form is based on royalty, and Sid just wants to beat people up so he's a Viking.

Logic!

But the faceplate on the belts already show the specific base form they will have? For example, what if the Gaim belt was used by Kaito, will he still look like Baron even if the faceplate is for Gaim?

Kaito can't do that, the Sengoku Driver only recognize its first wearer that initialized the Driver.
That has been established ever since.....the 2nd episode, iirc.

IMO, Kaito's Genesis Driver is another product, not Ryoma's.
Ryoma created the fifth Genesis Driver and set it to have Baron's base suit, probably because he has no time to create the data of a new base suit.

Except Zangetsu and Shin Zangetsu DON'T have the same undersuits :shakefist They're similar but the Shin version has black areas on the sides and possibly some other detail changes.

As stated above, the belts given to the beat riders (except Knuckle) are "locked" to them, so they can't just swap belts. The idea in the toyline is that the faceplates tell the belt what sound effects to play, so for example the Baron faceplate will always make the belt play Baron's henshin music even if you attached a lockseed that Baron doesn't have in the show (side note, some Riders share the same music anyway as there are more Riders than different faceplate moulds). In the show itself, only Kouta seems to have been able to remove his faceplate, so they've never had the opportunity to swap them, but if they did then I'd assume that the suit that formed would follow whatever faceplate was attached in order to keep in line with the toy gimmick.

Things are a bit more vague for the jinba mixed forms. The extra attachment completely replaces the faceplate, but the helmet is still visibly Gaim's. He is always already transformed first, so maybe it just retains whatever base suit was already being used? Or maybe all jinba forms would use Gaim's face, who knows? I doubt the show will ever feature another Rider using the jinba forms, so we may never find out.
