Kamen Rider Gaim Ep 23 - "Now Let's Go! Kachidoki Arms!"

Am I the only one thats annoyed and a bit resentful of the fact that the next episode is gonna be a crossover instead of moving the plot along?

Yes. Toei bends over backwards to give us superhero team ups and you just throw it back in there face. Shame on you.

Hey! Remember how Kouta in the opening war scene is flanked by Invess? What if he eventually DOES manage to convince the Overlords to act and ends up being helped by Invesses?! That'd be crazy...

A few people in the thread had also voiced their disapproval for the break. Myself, I don't mind it. For a number of reasons; 1) The story(so far) has ended with a satisfactory conclusion. If the crossover was this last week, I would be pissed. 2) It's nice to have a break, once in a while, and goof around with the train guys. 3) I know the Yggdrasil arc had supposedly ended with ep19, but I consider this a much better end note to the second arc. I just take next week's episode as a crossover special in-between seasons.

What if those were people that get turned into Inves and Kouta is leading a revolution against Yggdrasil?

I'm actually angry at the ToQgers/Gaim crossover next week because I want Gaim's plot to continue as soon as possible.

Says the guy who was bashing Super Hero Taizen before he saw it.

Why is that Kachidoki Arms is just given to Kouta with the side-dish of exposition that underlines the themes of the show in the most blatant unsubtle way possible? Didn’t the mid-season upgrades used to have some level of story and character development behind it or just was overall earned through putting some effort, rather than having the narrative convenience transparently just give it for free?

I wouldn’t have too much of a problem if this didn’t already happen twice. First the Lemon Energy and now this.
