Though that last part just screams bad writing to me. This isn't a 13 episode anime here, nor is it Sentai or Showa Rider. You've got to set the stage and build up to stuff.

They divide them in 12-14 episode chunks approximately, which is why you see arcs beginning/ending in this length of time. So, in practical terms, they are doing 4 seasons of 12 episodes or so.

In your opinion, of course. Especially in this genre, I would strongly disagree. It is different from other KR true, but different to a fault.

Even if it were so, 10 episodes where everything just got worse and worse is not good for viewing. You're asking me for a blind faith in a payoff that probably may not happen.

Gaim is playing with the idea that things tend to get worse before they get better. In real life, issues like this wouldn't resolve themselves this quickly. We can't immediately have the good guys win. That wouldn't be interesting. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This is yours, and I have mine.
In all honesty, you should be airing your grievances in the Gaim threads, not in a thread aimed to talk about the next step in the universe of Kamen Rider, or as people who are uncreative and whiny call it, Kamen Driver

I guess when he's not actually fighting it would make sense. But in reality, I doubt we'll get many, if any at all.

In real life, if you're going on 10 weeks making zero progress to your goal, and instead regressing backwards, you're horribly screwed. On screen, it makes for much worse entertainment.

I was merely responding to someone who thought this should be like Gaim. I'm merely pointing out that it shouldn't. At least, until people started being all defensive.

I would like it to have a more free-flowing story like Gaim (i.e. not the two-episode mini-arcs) and more than just two Riders. But Mashin Chaser seems to be a Rider-like figure even if he doesn't have the title of one ...
