I would say that neither of those statements are true
Point 1:
How many truly great things have taken longer than 2 and a half months? The answer to that question is almost all of them. You cant even produce a human life in that short of a time. That statement actually seems insane to me, that nothing important ever took anywhere near 10 weeks.
Point 2: This story takes place in less than 2 weeks? Absolutely no way. I would guess that it probably take places over the course of a few months, with some uneventful days not shown in between.

I like Accel, but to be honest, an entire series about carthemed Riders.. Don't know if i should like it, but thats just my personal taste. I just hope Toei keeps the storytelling style we've got from Gaim and had in the earlier Hesei seasons, and as long as they don't make a Singleriderseason again, i am satisfied

Ratings have nothing to do with the show's quality. Gaim is superior to OOO-Wizard because of how story driven it is. It is also the most mature series since Kabuto.
Drive needs to be just as story driven as Gaim if it wants to live up to it. Every episode needs to be significant just like Gaim. It also needs to keep up with the more mature stories and not go back to the stupid comedy like Den-O+ did.
At the same time, I agree, Drive needs to do something different in its execution. There is no reason we should not be seeing high speed chases with the monsters of the week. Of course, this is Toei, the company that likes to play everything safe. That is why DekaRanger failed when it had huge potential to be one of the most original Sentai series of all time. That is why Go-Buster failed. That is why Shinkenger failed. And that is why GekiRanger is one of the best Sentai series ever. They did something different with Geki and it stands out for it. Why the 90s is the best era for Sentai as it was filled with experimentation. Gaim stands out from the rest of the Kamen Rider series in the same fashion to Blade and Black do.
BTW, even putting Gaim and ToQ in the same sentence is just an insult to Gaim. ToQ is hands down one of the worst Sentai series of all time, if not the worst.

You know, I actually do like the belt the more I look at it. It's seriously clunky, but the fact that it just hooks up to a wrist thing means it might not be too involved with the gimmick, which might be a nice change of pace.
