Kamen Rider Decade, was it a complete disappointment?

The Black/Black RX episodes, and the All Riders vs Dai Shocker movie is what I enjoyed about Decade. Decade CAN be pretty horrible at times, but for me the good out weighs the bad.

Can't say that I don't blame them, since they're already doing that with Gokaigers right now. Sometimes I think that it's overkill to just bring back every Rider just because it's an anniversary.

Decade was acutely a really good series for me where they went wrong and lost just about EVERYBODY was after black/black RX with that stupid amazon stuff and then screwing us around with that movie (which to this day i renounce as a Trolling effort by shocker!)
if they had just given us our other world decade and a final battle between the worlds we would have been happy but nooooooooo some shocker grunt switched out the scripts :shakefist

I think the individual 2 part arcs of Decade were decent, but my god were the Decade cast themselves bland and uninteresting.

The Black/Black RX episodes were ruined hardcore by the Decade crew derping around with the perfector in a perfect example of the lazy-fanfiction-tier writing Decade often had as far as the main cast was concerned.

There was other stuff that was just lazy as well, like Black RX's Revolcane not getting the lightsaber effect. That really bothered me for some reason.

Wow, just when I thought I couldn't hate Decade any more than I already do.

Well, from the first half it was pretty decent, but when they got to the Nega World Arc, that was when the writers decided to piss off the fans with their lack of creative motives. I mean don't get me wrong, but as I said before the show had some potential, but they needed to hire some better writers who know how focus on the main protagonist's journey and his true purpose as the "Destroyer" instead of some writers who don't even bothered to listen to the fans' opinion but to pay more attention to their wallets.

That is more on the producers than the writers to me..........'cause the producers didn't really give the writers any direction besides "Decade visits 9 alternate versions of the previous Heisei Riders."

If you honestly believe Riku Sanjo or any other better script writer was gonna salvage the lack of direction that Toei & the rest of the Decade producers gave the writing staff there, then you are completely delusional. No writer was gonna save that series beyond that point.........even Yonemura failed to salvage Decade when he tried to give it some direction with Dai-Shocker/Super Shocker introduced in the series and movies.

TOEI WAS UN-PREPARED WITH DECADE..........PERIOD

Decade was awful.
the AU Riders were a terrible, terrible idea. they were whiny, weak and their sole reason to exist was to lose so Decade could save the day turning them into toys. yes, their moment of glory was being turned into a toy !! uurgh.

It's one thing to have to sit through a terrible series, it's another to have that series actively neutering future series from beyond the grave.

That being said, I am totally digging Gokaiger. I can't help but feel that the move to CGI mecha is the single worst decision they've made when it comes to Sentai though. Going back and watching ep 1 of Boukenger, with a completely CGI-free robot was downright amazing.
