Yeah, it can be viewed as support that Daiki knew Decade before the series started. You know what also could be viewed as that? When Daiki actually said he knew Decade before the series started. Kind of makes the whole thing moot since one goes with the other.

Wow. That's it? Really? I may have missed the part where he said he hates cucumbers, but still... Sounds like a pretty weak execution to me. Kind of makes the whole running gag pointless. Wow, finding something pointless in a discussion about Decade. Should I be surprised?

"Inside jokes" created by a production staff are really a pointless gag for the casual viewer, and it's more for the pleasure of the production staff themselves. It's really more of a distraction for the audience, but something for the people behind-the-scenes to laugh at. It's for "their pleasure," not ours. And this is just based on past experience of every TV show that I've watched that had a retarded inside joke that kept recurring in each episode of those shows.

If you have a gripe with it, go find all the members of the Decade production staff and throw tomatoes at them :thumbs:

Well Aikawa was writing the Faiz episode arc that started the whole "sea cucumber" ****, so if it was gonna establish something significant only Sho Aikawa would know. Since he didn't leave **** for Inoue, Kobyashi, and Yonemura to refer to explain for that ****........those 3 turned it into an "inside joke."

If anything, blame Aikawa for quitting on Decade too early before explaining that "sea cucumber" bull

Actually, the sea cucumber was originally mentioned in the 2nd Blade World episode, a Yonemura script. It's also the only scene that mentioned it in a serious context. One episode later, Sho Aikawa was using it as a joke already.
