Kamen Rider Decade rumor/picture thread

But what I'm more interested in is knowing how Tsukasa his driver in the first place. Because someone went to a lot of trouble to make sure that Decade never returned.

Since you're vague with this statement, I'll just ask this question to verify.

Are you talking about how Tsukasa "got" his Decadriver? Because I'm pretty damn sure All Riders vs. Daishocker revealed that.

But if you're talking about how Tsukasa "lost" his Decadriver, then I understand what you're saying b/c that has yet to be answered as well.

Also, sea sucumbers.

I really don't know why the fandom harps about that one. It's one of those inside joke things created by any production staff just for their own humor and pleasure.

It's kinda like that one Canadian tv show that mentions something about "Heather Sinclair" yet we never see or learn any history about the chick, and I heard that was just some inside joke created by that tv show's production staff as well.

So I'd suggestion to leave that **** alone, considering they joke around with that **** to the point where they make Kaito afraid of sea cucumbers on a stage show

No, there's no official information about any new movie featuring Decade. There was a rumor posted on 2ch (from the same spoiler provider that has been correct about Double's last arc) that talked about a Heisei Rider reunion project though.

If that happens, it presumably will be considered a "Decade" feature, but the rumor mentioned nothing specifically about Decade.
Until we see a picture of Decade alongside a short haired Natsumi (the hair would prove that it was a new photo - she cut it after filming DoublexDecade Movie Wars), I won't believe anything about a new Decade movie.

Meh~ I think, if they should make a movie, it is because they need to fill the plot-holes they left wide open.

Yeah, there's this missing bit where Tsukasa lost the Driver in one world, then ended up in Natsumi's with amnesia.

That's exactly what I meant when I said I would support more Decade movies. Maybe that way we could tie up all the loose ends. Maybe even make something of that lost footage from the trailer for the Double & Decade movie that was never used.

...I fail to see the point you're trying to make. From my perspective and from the perspective of people who are not in on the joke, the cucumber part was a plot element we were all hoping they would expand on. It made us believe that maybe Kaito/DiEnd knew Tsukasa/Decade in a previous life. DiEnd even said to him at one point "Before you came along, I was a passing through Kamen Rider", which meant they really did have a history together previously. If the whole cucumbers thing really is just an empty inside joke, how was the average person suppose to pick that up? It's not like they dismissed it as gracefully as Nago's button obsession.

One episode after the cucumber was mentioned the first time, it was turned into a joke and then never used in a serious context again. WHY would the average person take that seriously?

Yes, you're right, it means that Kaito knew Tsukasa before he lost his memories, and later Daiki confirms it... Later Tsukasa also says that he hates sea cucumber... so Daiki was just teasing him... what else do you want? A random flashback about Daiki spying Great Leader! Tsukasa going to a restaurant, eating sea cucumber and hating it? It could make a funny scene, but I don't see how it'd be relevant at all.

Nobody should take it seriously, but it's typical for comedies to explain mysterious running jokes before the show ends. That Decade didn't can be viewed as a legitimate flaw. I find the cucumber gags really distracting and irritating upon rewatch, they're just pointless dicking around.

Presumably a storyline explaining how Daiki knew Tsukasa before his memory loss and how this relationship was significant to Daiki. In terms of writing theory, a scene like this should explain or imply why Daiki's attitude toward Tsukasa is what it is. This is something else that can be viewed as a legitimate flaw.

You don't have to view it as such, of course, because every viewer's watching priorities are different. But someone who does is acting reasonably, I'd say.

But we did get some explanation. Daiki knew Tsukasa before he lost his memory, he stole the Diend Driver from Tsukasa's organization and Tsukasa eventually said that he disliked Sea Cucumber. Yes, everything is pretty vague and there was no specific flashback detailing everything, but the series did mention the relevant elements connected to it.

I suppose one can say that they still didn't explain enough, and a more detailed narrative would have been better, rather than the really vague descriptions of events given by the show, but the show didn't avoid those elements completely.

Wow. That's it? Really? I may have missed the part where he said he hates cucumbers, but still... Sounds like a pretty weak execution to me. Kind of makes the whole running gag pointless. Wow, finding something pointless in a discussion about Decade. Should I be surprised?

Episode 29, when he rescues a kid from some Dai-Shocker scientists. It's just said as a throw away comment not a big revelation or anything so it's easy to forget.
