Kamen Rider Decade rumor/picture thread

^ So Kiva won't have an alternate version. I guess the episode with the kid is when he first became Kiva.

We don't know anything for sure, which is why making assumptions is going to do nothing but dissappoint yourselves and others lol.

It's possible Wataru is immuned to the effects of the worlds colliding.

Each Rider stint will only involve around 3 episodes. And yes, the riders are alternate versions of themselves, so having different actors, while it may upset some people, doesn't conflict with the story they're trying to tell.

I understand that it's an alternate universe perspective but it feels like they are just using that as an excuse to explain the 'onodera disease'. Also makes it seem more and more like this anniversary was just a ploy to sell more toys.

I'm not really mad because it's just a tv show but it's just what I've been thinking recently.

It's always about the toys, because the show exists for kids. Don't ever fool yourself into thinking otherwise. As a toy collector myself, I'm happy that it is.

The fact that we usually get at least a decent show on top of it, is icing on the cake. Even though Decade is marketed as an anniversary series, it still has to stand on its own two feet when all is said in done.

Would getting every single actor back be awesome? Yeah, of course it would. Was it ever feasable? No, not at all. And for those who thought it was...come on, count how many actors hesei has had alone. Even the people who loved the show, still have a life to tend to.

Not to mention, getting the actors back does no service to the current fans of the show. That's probably one of the reasons why Wataru is in the show in the first place. Current fans will of course remember him. No 4-year-old is going to remember Ryuki or Kuuga, asside from repeats.

This anniversary is celebrating the riders themselves, not the actors. I can bet that even though the ryuki riders are named ren and shinji, their last names have been changed, just like Kuuga.

As I said about these pictures in the other thread:

- I assume Abyss is the "new villain" for Ryuki's world as they're doing one for each. Like the design. This will probably be my favorite part of Decade. New villians.

Shame they couldn't get Ryuki back, but I'm guessing they didn't want to pay him whatever he asked for.

Hopefully the Final Attack Rides will only be used once, like the different DenLiner forms.

- Same barcode motif that Decade has but his barcodes are tilted at about a 30 degree angle or so. You can also see bars similar to the ones that form the 'X' on Decade's chest. I wonder what roman numeral Crisis' chest will form? I assume we'll see Crisis as soon as we saw IXA. Episode 6-10 or thereabouts?

- Mini-Wataru. Uh. Yeah.

Spider Fangire returns? And with children? That's... creepy. Very creepy.

Female Kivat? Well, I guess they have to come from somewhere. Weird.

Dogabaki gives me hope that we'll see multiple forms of each Rider during their time in Decade.

KiBow looks much better with the Leg Arrow open. It just looks silly closed.

I'm getting more and more upset with each picture. This show might be a big let down. I don't really care about seeing the costumes again. I wanted the actors.

Here is my opinion with the new actors. I think they should be all new characters. I don't want to see someone else being Kido or Ren for example. It would bother me to see people pretending to be someone when they aren't. At least if things get messed up with the worlds merging, it would make sense that the Advent Decks for example would go to different people. I really hope this is the case because otherwise it's going to get annoying fast to see these new guys pretend.

As I've said before, Toei might not be willing to pay whatever the originals wanted to return. And that's even going into the idea that they want to come back. Just because one loves Kamen Rider doesn't mean you come back and work for free.

lets pray Gackt is gonna be Abyss if its the true villian. :D

on the other hand, crisis looks like he's on a design crisis. I do think crisis stands for economy crisis we are having now, and thus the bloody design.

ps: is it only me? crisis head reminds me of optimus prime.

Fortunatly for Toei, and unfortunatly for us, those recast riders have 1 similarity, they don't have to be something special to become a rider.
Their system is that, anyone who attend to the henshin device can transform into a rider, well at least that how shinji became Ryuki.

So the recasting isn't totally such screwed up, lets just hope that toei realises this and make a good cover-up. eg. shinji got eaten by draggeder and this errie looking guy took over. Kenzaki is the navy joker now and he doesn't need the blaybuckle, hibiki retired... all is possible @@

I know. It's just too bad we don't live in a perfect world where there are no recasts or trilogies that have a terrible 3rd movie.

eg. shinji got eaten by draggeder and this errie looking guy took over.

New Ryuki is also named Shinji. I guess the only thing different in these alternate worlds -besides the different enemies- is that all of the riders had different fathers.... which explains the different family name and appearance.:laugh:

Really don't like Wataru as Tendou. I guess I don't really care much about re-casts though. Sure, it's kind of disappointing, but it will make this show stand out more as it's own Rider series. That shadowy design of Crisis looks really bad ass though. I've always liked the second riders best myself--Zeronos, Gatack, and Rising IXA are three of my all-time favorites.
