Kamen Rider Decade/Double - Movie News Thread

I never thought Toei would directly confirm All Riders position after Decade's last episode aired, but, if it's really supposed to already have happened, it pretty much has to be between 29 and 30, I don't see why you're acting like it's a big mystery.

In episodes 28 and 29, Dai-Shocker was still around, controlling an entire planet and Apollogeist summoned reinforcements from dimensional walls like he did in Black and RX. So, Dai-Shocker can't have been destroyed there. Now, let's remember the next set of episodes.

Tsukasa didn't complain about not having a world, even while looking at his pictures, Apollogeist suddenly had to use just monsters of that world, rather than summoning more from elsewhere with dimensional portals...

Besides, he apparently had enough time to organize the fake battle with the Undead and Fangire and prepare his marriage... even though Tsukasa and the others had just arrived there not too long after Apollogeist had escaped from Amazon World, apparently. However, insert the All Riders movie in the middle, and Apollogeist suddenly has enough time to set up the Rider War scenario.

I suppose there are still some oddities, like the Riders teaming up with Tsukasa just to face him one day later and a Dai-Shocker castle appearing in the Rider War world, but it's really the only point the movie can fit if it already happened. It can't be before Amazon World (Dai-Shocker still around in full force), it can't be after Rider War World (cliff hanger ending that leads into the December movie), it must take place between them.

Probably because as people who have actually seen the movie have been saying, it makes no sense. It can't be between 29 and 30 because 29 ended with the Rider War backdrop falling down over the Amazon World one. There's no point where they could have gone off to All Riders, and it's silly for them to then go back to Amazon World after it just to have one scene which wouldn't fit in anyway since Tsukasa says he will search for his world. Unless there's a cut scene with Tsukasa saying "You know what, let's not go there right now. Pull down a different one!", it just doesn't work, and that's not even getting into the inconsistencies All Riders would bring in. I just don't think they could go back to business as usual in the Rider War World and not mention the events of the movie at all.

I think we should just wait and see how the next movie goes when it comes out. For all we know, All Riders could take place in the middle of that. Or it never took place at all. Or it did, but Toei don't even know where themselves so they'll never specify. :laugh:

I really don't think that portrait scene is that relevant. The tie in for the Super Den-O movie basically ignored the fact that the portrait of the Kabuto World had fallen already, keeping Tsukasa and co in the Den-O world for a brief Sieg cameo.

For all we know, All Riders could take place in the middle of that. Or it never took place at all.

Hasn't it just been confirmed somewhere that Dai-Shocker has already been destroyed by the Riders in this new movie? That's why I posted that last message. If it hasn't been confirmed, then I'll wait more before bringing this up again.

I just posted that because I thought Dai-Shocker's destruction before this new movie had been confirmed.

I just don't think they could go back to business as usual in the Rider War World and not mention the events of the movie at all.

Weren't they ignoring the events of that movie by the end of that movie itself? (Showing little reaction to the presence of Natsumi's grandpa in the studio)

They never made any comments about previous worlds after leaving them either, besides Kuuga's when they went to Agito's and the ones they met again in the Rider War World, so ignoring Tsukasa's isn't really too unexpected.

Hey, Toei manages to pull that crap off real well with those Sentai movies......and you don't see any Sentai fans complaining over that strategy (except maybe Black Fang).

This one is a bit different because, like you said, Sieg shows up after the painting fell, which means somehow the journey was postponed because they still had something to do, as shown by the fact that there are no painting hanging at all. Even though it is a bit of BS, we know that it has to take place there. There is no scene like that at the end of 29 that gives any indication that the movie takes place then.

That scene in one of the ones we see during the credits, IIRC, Natsumi is in the studio and sees Eijirou there and no one speaks.

The problem is you really need to watch the movie, going on a few plot points and trying to connect the dots without seeing the whole movie makes it a bit hard to judge.

There is the scene in the movie where Yuusuke and Natsumi are inside the Dai Shocker base and Doctor Shinigami and Ambassador Hell reveal who they are and that this is Dai Shocker!!! Yuusuke says something like 'huh? Dai Shocker?' with both him and Natsumi looking confused like they have never heard of it before.

I would have loved for it to fit in perfectly but it really doesn't. This movie should be treated the same way Project G4 is(it is important to the story line and takes place around episode 40 but there are inconsistencies so it's not a good fit).
