I Miss IGADEVIL!!

It's not so much that they were asking for it, but everything just sorta came at him all at once, no job, kicked out of Japan after like three years there, and then randomly having people tease him at the worst possible time when he's in no condition to take it just grates on a guy. Last I heard, he needs a brand new computer.

Someone should totally start up one of those random donation drives for him on the front page.

if we did do a donation drive, does anyone have contact with him now to even give him the money?

Er, well I'm not sure if he minds us talking about it or not, but basically...he needs a job for his visa in Japan to be renewed. He had one lined up, but the company sort of went back and forth between telling him they did need him and that they didn't. He apparently had another job ready, but it was out of the way, then that company called him back, said they needed him, so he went with them and then...they said they didn't need him. It was too late to look for another job at this point.

Least I think that's how it went.
Did I miss something? What happened to igadevil?
It's like two posts above yours, dude.

You can also leave Japan and fly to a close foreign destination, like HK or Seoul, and renew your Visa — that's what I did when I lived in Japan back in the 1980s. Unless Iga is short on cash and can't afford to fly out and back. Once you get an Guaranteer for a job, such as an Employer, you can apply for a Work Visa (which is also what I had). Then, one should try to apply for Foreign Resident's Status (and then go on to your Green Card). But, I feel for him...

I don't have the inside scoop of what's going on with Paul, but I have two friends who work for HobbyLink Japan, and maybe they can help him out on my behalf? Unless he's already had some negative experience with HLJ that I'm unaware of.

I'm pretty sure he posted about this in public on the forum before his computer died (which was the part I hadn't heard). So there's probably no harm in repeating it.

Why was he kicked out of Japan?.

Teasing him about what?.

All this sounds like to me is some emo geek ****.... like wtf......

Here I thought some serious happened to the guy.

Ok and after that donation drive can we do one for everyone else that lost a job?.

I dunno, I'd say having to leave the country you called home for a good three years would be considered serious. I'm sure everyone has had times where even small things can bug them because there's something bigger going and just taking a hammer to their resilience.
