I hate Power Ranger OP Credits...now

From MytsicForce and up, they absolutely disgust me. There is very little to no effort in the OP anymore, and I'm not even talking about the songs - That's for a whole other thread - I'm talking about the visuals themselves.

Why did they stop the "Ranger turns around, gives an awesome smile, then you see their ranger form"? or the " Ranger is in a place that reflects their character, gives an awesome smile, then shows their ranger form"?

now it's just simple, take a piece from an episode, make sure it just gets the particular person's face, put a lame background, and that's it.

I might be the only one that feels this way :laugh: but it's been in the back of my head for at least a year now. So I haad to let this out.

The Disney OPS after MF have been pretty shitty. I loved the actors from the Saban era smiling at the camera, Even though it was cheesy it was still cool.

I agree. They put no effort in it anymore. Just churn out crap thinking... oh they'll like it no matter what since it's labeled with "Power Rangers". I think Bandai America had a similar attitude like that when they were doing the PROO toyline. I'm sure we all can recall what a craptastic disaster it was. They kind of learned their lesson after that year. But with an OP... there's no decrease in sales or anything to give them incentive to put effort in it.
