How would you handle RPM?

That's actually really easyy if you think about it...like really.

all you need is a good story, some arcs for the villains, AMERICAN ACTORS and omg your set. I can imagin it right now

Here is what I'd do...

Make there a RPM team which is destroyed and their souls are forged into the cars which is why the zords talk and they lead a new team into battle.

Then I'd bring JYB back to be RPM Gold, just to compete in the coolness area with Hiroto.

I'm telling you.... RPM has the tools for an awesome original storyline with the Go-Onger footage. PR has to buckle up in 2009 anyway with KRDK coming in, because the trailers alone are more kick ass then PRNS-PROO combined.

haha well said..the reason why i'm iffy about the veteran ranger thing is

because their completly out of their element. "Adam" would look mad cool

in a gold suit but, I don't see a person saying " Here take this, say "let's w/e"

Adam would be like, "Bich! do you know who i am?"

They'd have to put literally begging in the show for him to come back.

2 veteran Rangers as Go-On Wings would still be excellent. I'd like to see 'em make the new Rangers work their asses off to gain respect on the battlefield.

Story Line- ...NO MORE PLOTS REVOLVING AROUND "THOUSANDS" of YEARS!!! Seriously. It's been done to DEATH... Why not focus on todays Generation? Make the plot focus on hands-on conflicts (Natural disasters, land fills, pollution, etc). I'm just throwing ideas out there. But you get what I'm saying.

Villains- Okay, so we've had Alien Invaders, Ancient Evils being revived, Mutant invaders, Robotic-like threats, etc. Why not we get some REAL villains into the action? Villains that actually end up...beating the Rangers for once! At least until they bust out their power-ups. A guy (or woman) that has a real voice in his power. I'm tired of all these fake-outs that always say one thing...but end up doing another thing. If you're gonna "kill" the Ranger's, at least be pretty darn close to it!

CGI Usage- CGI is a very popular and reliable source of technology these days. It comes in handy for special attacks, power-ups, you name it. But there is a relative difference between Good CGI, and BAD CGI.

Good CGI: A prime example of good CGI would be...the Spirit Ranger attacks in "One Last Second Chance". The detail was clean, the CGI background environment was fun and eye-popping, and overall, it made played a nice affect with each Rangers' spirit.

BAD CGI: TWO words...STRIKE RIDER! The costume and bike itself is descent. A waste of money, but all in all pretty descent. As for the CGI attacks...those are horrible examples of bad CGI. Period.

Character Focus- Jungle Fury has done a GREAT job with character focus. Each character has had equal amounts of screen time and development (prior to Dom's recent lack of dialog). All I would really do is look at how the writer's and crew handled Jungle Fury, and make next years team even better. Each year the crew SHOULD step up to the next notch.

Morphed/Unmorphed Fight Scenes- The thing most older fans miss about the old days is...the quality and elegance of the fighting scenes. There was much realism in it, and the viewer felt like they were apart of the action. According to past posts, it seems as if the high-flying and Raw action downgraded soon after DT ended (or SPD pending on opinion). Fight these days are now more kid-friendly, wire-fued to the maximum, and somewhat "blurry". A lot of the moves are so fast pace, the viewer can hardly see whats going on.

I would defintely add more detail and emotion into the fights. Especially the unmorphed fights. Those are the ones we're supposed to feel all the power and emotion that goes into all that training. And above all, let these actor/actresses act in their suits! When it comes to the advanced level of fighting, that's when the stunts come in. But a basic kick, punch, and even a flip can be performed by the actors. How hard can it be? Really.

Overall Power Rangers adaption of Go-Onger- I've seen most of Go-Onger (recently stopped watching for obvious reasons). Villain-wise, I can definitely seen a easy Machine Empire reference in next years team. And for that reason, I also believe bringing back a Veteran Ranger (Adam perhaps) would be a smart move. And worth the money. There is so much the crew can do next year, it's not even funny. All that would be holding them back is...DISNEY. They have the money, so they need to start using it wisely.

That's what I've been saying they need to stop being lazy since Trailer is what attract viewers. As a kid you can be a die hard PR fan and not be attracted to a new season and JF they took they didn't do anything with the promos. As a fan I'm supposed to get hyped for a new season by showing Animals?

Exactly, Disney's lineup for their XD site has cut almost half of their programs that run now including original programing so they should have more money to put into RPM.

If I was in charge of Disney, here's what I would do to handle Power Ranger R.P.M:

1. Make the season appear in HD Widescreen

2. Use some of the stuff from its Sentai counterpart so the season would look 90% identical.

3. Make R.P.M a slightly serious attempt of adapting Go-Onger

4. Never hire remedial voice actors for the monsters and the Engines.

5. Add more epic theme songs during the non-morphing and morphed battles.

6. Introduce both the Gold and Silver Rangers first in Episode 01, then assemble Blue, Yellow, and Red.

7. Introduce the "zords" and the "Megazord" in Episode 02.

8. Make Green and Black brothers then introduce their zords in Episode 05 or 06.

9. Bring back the custom-made ranger motorcycles for each ranger, not just for Red only.

10. Have Gold & Silver morphing once their "zords" arrive

11. Move the production to Canada.

12. Do not use big explosions

13. Limit the usage of CGI animation and digital wire-fu to a minimum

14. Make sure that the season would still be deep enough to have its own storyline rather than copying almost everything from its Sentai counterpart.

15. Add more episodes.

16. No comical line, and now goofy characters.

17. Add in a two part team-up episode

18. Never use the "Hii-ya" crap during the roll call.

19. No focus on the Red Ranger

20. No rushed up episodes

21. Add a 3-part season finale.
That's how I would run things If I was in charge of Disney.

I don't know what I'd do in terms of villain motivation, but in terms of everything else.

1. Cut out the talking zords. Wouldn't work here.

2. Make the mentor some sort of world famous engineer who designed the zords based on his favorite animals. That way, we have an explanation as to why they're animals AND how he can keep pulling zords and weapons out of his ass.

3. Have all five rangers join the team together, but due to some sort of glitch in the designs, green and black can't morph yet, forcing the mentor to completely redesign the zords for just red, blue, and yellow. Then, he'll redesign the morphers for green and black, which will allow them to morph as well.

4. Maybe make Go-on wings two people that the mentor chooses to join, but then they get really cocky and try to upstage the other rangers.

That's all I got right now, but...

4. Since JF is a hit in more ways than one i would go with the same formula which is using 90% of the storyline and plots from their Sentai counterpart.

No. Just no.

I want a good story of RPM. Go-onger have no story at all, NOTHING.

Use the US villains instead of Go-onger villains.

Get rid of talking zords. Maybe no battle zords. I hate the fact that there are too many mechas in Go-onger.

Make five Rangers to be more smarter than Go-onger team.

Go-onger sucks this year and I want Power Rangers R.P.M to be awesome season, just like Jungle Fury.

Jungle Fury rocks.
