How can anyone dislike the Candroids?

I didn't say it wasn't used at all. Clearly it was. I just meant in comparison to the Spider Shock and Stag Phone.

They had about the same exposure, except that the phone was, well, a phone and they were there at the beginning of the series.

What's a Candroid? Is it a Canadian Robot or something?

Stop judging me.

Vending bike is awesome. You shall respect it. :P

It's all about the Hardboilder. :castlerock:

I think the concept makes sense.

Vending machines are all over the city. It's convenient. Plus, if you were to add weapons to the thing, it'd be disguised as cans obviously.

You guys are thinking TOO much on this. It's a kids show. Calm down.

So whenever Toei adds some stupid gimmick to a Rider show, that means we'll see some insane character working behind the scenes?

If that ends up happening, yeah, that would suck, but I can take it as a one-time thing.

Personally, I'm not to big on the Candroids, and I LOOOOOVED Disk Animals and I LOOOOVE stupid gimmicks. I find them ridiculously fun and, when done well, creative. The more over-the-top, the better. Maybe if we get something more creative than the OctoRamp, I'll get on board, but till then, they're cute, but not really a highlight of the series for me. I am enjoying the medals and RideVendor though.

I like the Octopus ones due to their first scene, and Eiji's reaction - Priceless.

It's an Octopus. Hey Octopus, Octopus.. Look. Amazing.

Just priceless, hopefully some of the others will get that reaction

I'm neutral with the candroids, but I would like to see it in more actions not like weapons used once and never seen again. So far the bird can spy on their target and octopus can creat support for OOO and both can collect cell medals.

Which begs the question, what's the logical reason to having all of those vending machines scattered all over the city? I doubt it's to quench everyone's thirst. If it's for the purpose of having an easy access to weaponized animal helpers, then why not just have something that doesn't resemble anything with a purpose far from whatever that object was designed for? Why not just make portable weapon lockers which when opened releases animal helpers that when folded, looks far from something used for a drink. If it's to disguise those weapon dispensers, then if some normal dude drops a coin in it and expects a cold can of Pepsi, then what would happen?

We're not thinking about it too much, in fact, it doesn't even take much brain activity to realized how "silly" the concept is. I'm not saying it's bad, all I'm saying is that it's "silly".

He gets a can of Tako-brand energy drink or Taka-brand soda or something.

You need a Cell Medal to get anything useful out of that machine AND you need to know the correct input sequence.
