Anyone love/like or hate/dislike Kamen Rider Hibiki *spoilers*?

yeh well im not sure people will like me bumping up threads that r 3-4+ months old. and most r like wat was said before, "Wat were they thinking" or "i dont get it" or "why this is not a Rider show" ive only seen one that is a Talkback thread and that died months ago.

hibiki was one of those series that you have to go in with a very open mind

when it comes to character development, interaction, music, and dialogue, it's a gem, however if you want an overall big bad guy tries to do something horrible to the world story then you best look elsewhere

i think if people just gave hibiki a chance they'd love it, but if you go in, thinking "Yay bug eyed traditional goodness" then you'll be sorely disappointed

I really don't want to get into another "Why Hibiki sucks" argument, so I won't. I just want to point out that a lot of us did go into, and finished, Hibiki with an open mind and still came out of it disappointed because of the production company's thematic choices. Hibiki was my second Rider series after Blade, and to compare the two, Hibiki kicked Blades ass initially, then just fell apart towards the end. It could have been so much more than what was given us... and that's where you get the very vocal group bitching about how it sucks...

I never finished it. But it was an ok season. It's just there was so much civilian scenes and only 30 second 60 second long monster fights. There was no heroic excitement and no real mysterious plot to keep you engaged.

I want to go back and finish it when a torrent including all episodes finally comes out. But it just wasn't a season that had me wanting to watch more. It was still better than Den-O.

I love Kamen Rider Hibiki b'coz although it's a storyless piece of crap, it became the god of character development. And that show has the best cast in Kamen Rider history.

Shigeki Hosokawa is also a great man. B'coz of role as Hibiki, he made a boring character a joy to watch.:anime:
