I bet this will have another crappy ending.

It's pretty shocking that it has taken this long for a sequel to get a move on, but finally Columbia Pictures is gearing up for GHOST RIDER 2, the sequel to the smash-hit comic book adaptation from 2007 that saw Nicolas Cage as a stunt motorcyclist Johnny Blaze who gives up his soul to become a hellblazing vigilante, to fight against power hungry Blackheart, the son of the devil himself. What we learned this evening is that Columbia Pictures is officially out to writers to pen the sequel and that Nicolas Cage is in fact attached and signed on to return.

The first movie had a lot of potential. I mean, it's Nicolas Cage playing Ghost Rider, you wonder how it could go wrong, right?

Hopefully they learned their lesson and aren't getting the guy who wrote Elektra again.

I actually liked the first one. >.> I liked the mix action and comedy. :D I'm up for the second one.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

:D yuck! One of the few marvel movies I have not really enjoyed... I suppoes it had its oddball cool moments but mainly just the thrill of seeing him in action in something other than a cartoon or comic :D Who knows maybe the other movie will be better than thefirst ...

Right??? it could happen

The first one was terrible though. Why a second one?

I remember reading somewhere Cage was a huge fan and if it came to it he wouldn't mind funding the sequel himself. Maybe he's pulling the strings? Just throwin that out there, I have no idea.

Anyways, I really enjoyed the first one. Thought it was an o.k. film. Maybe it wasn't the best adapt but it certainly wasn't the worst. Also Cage's attitude towards the whole thing really helped it I think, and came across on screen.

So I'm genuinely interested in the sequel and to see how they handle it.

I wasn't terribly impressed. I didn't hate it, but I didn't necessarily like it either. It was more or less one of those movies you enjoy on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Doesn't really deserve a sequel, but then again, neither do most movies. I guess they may as well make one.

The first one had some problems but there was also foundation for some good.

Maybe this time they can get all of it right.
