He's my idea...
The Liners combine the weapons with a loud call of 'RAILWAY CLAYMORE!!!' and Grey and Azure place themselves, side by side behind Crimsom as he holds the sword.
Their gauntlets give off steam and the wheels on Crimsom's boots start spinning, the shield also has steam coming of vents and with a call of 'FULL STEAM AHEAD!' Grey and Azure propel Crimsom Forward, just as the hilt of the halberd starts rotating faster and faster, energy building up into its bladed tip as it rotates.
And as he speeds toward the enemy Crimsom brings down the sword just as the spinning stop, making the energy expend and them BOOM! the bad guy blows up and Crimsom stops right after flying through the explosion!

i want to say i hate the gameplan just because well i didn't come up with them but jeeez that sounds great

And ya i think the whole sword will be awesome and i was planning to have the sword sorta plug into the steam gauntlet to power it just going with the whole ancient or old technology thing.

A;so I thought i chould mention there will likely be some sort of variation of the whole G3 Princess thing in the rpg, because that episode made me laugh my ass off, and given the characters we have here i know I'll laugh even more. Also I'll work on getting us started soon now that im awake from my nap
