Should I give Engine Sentai Go-Onger a another chance?

Yes, like anything you should watch and ignore all the comments and make your own opinion. Sometimes chucking a show before Episode 20, you miss a lot of good stuff. Go-Onger is a show that actually did a good job of following basic story structure, Beginning(1-10 eps with Hanto/Gunpei joining, good character introduction episodes for all 5), Middle(Hiramekimedes/Wings 16-23), Climax(Go-Roader intro, Ancient Engines, Horondethal, Sousuke/Yogostein showdown episodes), and Resolution(The final 5 episodes were just plain awesome and wrapped everything up nicely without rushing it.)

I'm not saying it was done perfectly, but it was clear that the writers knew exactly how they wanted the story to play out from the beginning. Where other series sometimes completely lose the plot and go everywhere after the first 10-15 episodes.

Relax Lv, I really don't think so. He just didn't think it through enough, so he made the mistake of wasting a thread.

But it's not even truly wasted anyways, because he eventually will watch Go-on, so he can come back here someday and still see our views on it.

I got so much more entertainment out of Go-Onger than I did in Shinkenger. If it's between the two Go-Onger wins hands-down to me.

I see. Well, good thing that comes out of Go-Onger, that they got hot, cute yellow go-onger! But, still, they're acting too goofier, having those vehicles talking and all..I just go, "HUH?!"

That's why I drop this series much earlier, waiting for another year to watching Shinkenger.

Hey, I'm giving this show a another shot. I drop this series like..first three episodes, I believe. Never went through to watching a whole series, so how can you saying that "people will post that as a positive"? Meaning there's good about this show, eh?

Well yes there is, Seventeen posted a good point. Every season has its positives/negatives. What I meant is that people will say a series is good because the girl rangers were hot. That's like saying an awful movie was good for a hot chick in it.

I stopped caring about the show's goodness after GP25, although there are SOME good eps during the 2nd half of the series.

- Hiroto going berserk over Miu getting hurt/using the GoRoader GT impulsively.
- the final pollution minister "killing" the rest of the Go-on Team.
- Dino Engines' debut.
- Engine Shogun's reappearance, along with a Retsutaka look alike.[/HIDE]

This is a very good list.Plus, I prefer my Go-on over Shinken anyday.
