Engine Sentai Go-Onger: Full Blast (RPG Thread)

Amrita listened quietly as Kazuma talked. She understood his feelings well. "I wasn't told about anyone else until we met to be honest." She cast a look at Jetras who in turn looked apologetic.

The pair entered the shop and after getting drinks sat down in a corner to continue their talk.

"My time in the military taught me that it's pointless to fear death. Fearing it give's your enemies an advantage. It takes away energy better spent elsewhere on the battlefield. Focus on your strength, and those fight with you. Working together you can make a weakness into a strength."

She sipped her tea before continuing "As to the 'weight' that is place upon us, it is hard to bear at times I admit. But now I have one question for you"

"What reason do you fight Kazuma?"

"I fight to protect those I hold dear, and those that cannot protect themselves from the threat upon them. It's the same reason I joined the Air Force...though it's now a much larger task as Go-On Silver I do admit."

Amrita took another sip of tea and remarked "As we were drawn together by our partners, perhaps these others are as well. If so, then I feel we will all meet in due time. No offense to our unknown teammates but I'd rather focus on fighting the threats in front of me, rather than chasing endless shadows."

"You have a point, we probably wouldn't have ran into each other if I stayed back home. And technically you were in my neck of the woods. Still I gotta admit things were a lot more pleasant back home though. What I'd give to bite into a big piece fried chicken right about now or at least a burger. Like you said the stuff from out here is an acquired taste, and I've never had much luck when it comes to acquiring tastes. i can only hope my favorite fast food franchises have some sort of presence on this side of the ocean or I just might end up starving." he said, doing his best to not be too negative, and more or less l failing at it.

"So where are you from exactly anyway? I know we're from the same country but that's about it." he said, now attempting to distract himself from his own crankiness by chatting. "As you may have guessed I'm from down south where NASCAR is pretty much the biggest thing ever. Originally grew up in a small town so as you can guess I'm not a big fan of big cities like this. But one of the nice things is the fact that I'm not being mobbed by fans and crazed women wanting to have my children."

"Your fans could be quite scary, especially when that local KFC had those commemorative buckets of chicken and the fans wanted autographs."

"Just another reason that helped convince me to get on that plane to come here."

Even though Topaz didn't follow NASCAR herself, she did feel a little important being around such a hotshot, but kept her cool as she went on to answer his questions. "I live pretty much in the middle of nowhere in Pennsylvania...my small town doesn't really have anything to it's credit, so I was naturally wanting to visit other places, like here for example...just didn't expect it to be so soon, ha ha..." She couldn't help laugh at the irony.

"I guess we both are from small towns in that case...and I would have never guessed that I'd meet something like the Ugatz in my whole life..."

"But you seemed to take it pretty well after you beat them, Vvv! It's like you weren't fazed at all!"

"Ah...well...I'm into a lot of action related things though, Bear RV, which includes certain sci-fi and anime...robotic minions are standard fare in those, heh..." Even though she was making light of it now, she was still trying to wrap her mind around the whole thing....

"Heh, Mr. speed Junkie here didnt handle it so well at first, you should have seen how he was freaking out! Speedor told them while chuckling.

"Well I was just in a huge crash where my car went flying and was surrounded by flames and heaps of twisted metal and lets not forget the rampaging Ugatz" Zeke pointed out rather quickly in an attempt to save face after Speedor revealed some of the less flattering details of that fateful day. "Besides once I regained my composure we teamed up and I suited up an wiped the floor with those walking scap heaps!"

"Doesnt change the fact that you freaked out"

"Shut up Speedork."

Kazuma nodded, and said," I really don't think it's a great idea either to chase after them as well. Maybe we are meant to be a separate team like we are different then them probably." Kazuma then thought it over, and said," You know I am not to sure why I fight. It's just really I've seen many cruel things in my life, and I just know that where injustice is there has to be someone good to stop it." Kazuma then sighed, and said," I know it sounds corny it's just I don't want to live in a world of crime or a world ruled by machines."

Amrita smiled at Kazuma, but one thing troubled her. "It isn't corny, Kazuma-kun" she said with a chuckle "my little brother always wanted to protect people as well. He liked to say that he 'wanted to be the light that banished the darkness' whatever that darkness was."

As soon as the words left her mouth Amrita gave a small gasp. "I can't believe I told someone I just met what Raju-kun used to tell me" She thought frowning. She instinctively pulled back in her seat, hoping somehow Kazuma hadn't heard that last part.

Jetras, though hidden, was worried that Amrita might up and leave right then; knowing how she was when it came to her brother.

Trying to think of how to change the subject Amrita said quickly "There will come a time when you have to choose between your life as a teacher and your life as the warrior Go-On Gold. Prepare yourself." Amrita said coldly, feeling the panic starting to squirm in her stomach.

Kazuma saw how much he freaked, and he just said," I didn't hear what you said?" Kazuma did, but he didn't admit it. Kazuma then replied and said," I think I can balance both, but if I get fired for being go-on gold it would be worth it."

Toriptor then sent a message to Jetras, and she said," I hope are partners can get together. Though seriously they seem perfect. What do you think about them?"

Senga was in the middle of a heated discussion about magical girl manga with his newest teamate, Kasumi. The two had elaborated on his magical girl comment after the round of introduction and had found common ground in a few pieces of fiction, even if Magical Girls weren't Senga's forte. Buson and Birca had been put down on the ground to watch the old TV Senga had brought in for Hibari. They were going through some mild chat of their own, watching the news and ads.

"...oh I agree that her drawing style is excellent, what I'm saying is that her action scenes are lacking. They're not dynamic enough in terms of composition and angle, she lacks experience in that area and it shows. After all she used to only make romance manga and while she got that part down pat she's not quick used to the whole 'fighting evil' part of her story. Off course Magical Girl mangas don't always have elaborate fights like shonens so its not a glaring flaw for the more casual observer so I can understand you might..." Prattled on Senga, making exagerated hand gestures as he talked, like always.

"Aye caramba Senga! Hibari, Kasumi! You might want to see this baru baru!"

"More Go-ongers have appeared on on!"

Senga was at the TV screen in a flash. The news was showing images caught earlier at the airport. It showed Go-on Red and Go-on Yellow fighting a large star shaped creature on the tarmac.

Senga reeled back way too dramatically "That's not a Ugutz."

"Its a BankiJyu! Baru baru! They're the central part of the Gaiark army! They're strong and have all sorts of abilities you have to watch out for baru baru."

Senga took a pensive pose, closing his eyes as if he was deep in thought "So it begins... I was affraid it would come to this...those Ugutz were just too easy." He suddenly opened his eyes and pointed straight at the TV "The next phase of our quest for justice has begun! THE ERA OF THE MONSTER OF THE WEEK IS UPON US! We must quickly track down those two westerners and join up with them!"

"You can tell they're not japanese just from watching their body language baru baru?"

"No off course not! I just read rumors that a red and yellow heroes were spotted in the US. On the internet. I'm just guessing here." Stated Senga in such a matter of factly manner it was almost out of character for him.

Birca's hologram flipped on its back.

((OOC: THAT should move us along dangit!))

((Undrave!!!!! Welcome back!))

"More Go-ongers have appeared on on!"

Kasumi stared, wide-eyed, at the television screen. There were people like her outside of Japan as well? And they'd come here to fight off the Ugatz and...whatever Birca had said the other creature was?

"...Buson-san...you don't think this is karma, is it?"

"Hm? I'm not sure what you're talking about, onnn," Buson replied.

"I kept saying that I wouldn't fight until there were other people to fight with...and now there are four of them at once! It's almost as if...as if God wants me to fight."

Buson sighed. "I don't think that actually counts as karma, on on. And since when were you so concerned with divine providence."

Kasumi blushed. "I...I didn't know how to phrase it otherwise. I mean...what I meant was..."

"You're convinced you have to fight now?"

Kasumi nodded and turned to Senga. "So, Sumizare-san...the American rangers...should we be looking for them at this point? It'd probably be best if we were all fighting together. I have no idea where we'd start looking, but..."

"Heh, Mr. speed Junkie here didn't handle it so well at first, you should have seen how he was freaking out!

"Besides once I regained my composure we teamed up and I suited up an wiped the floor with those walking scrap heaps!"

"Doesnt change the fact that you freaked out"

"Shut up Speedork."

Even though it was a little rude, Topaz couldn't help but giggle at Zeke and his partner arguing amongst themselves. "Hee Hee...well, it's all right...though, like I said, even though I've come across things like the Ugatz all the time in other media, it's one thing to read and watch something like that and actually fight against them, you know? The important thing is that we rose to the occasion...I think that's the important thing..."

After saying this, she laughed some to herself. "Heh...listen to me, I sound like the type that always dispenses the helpful advice on the team or something...even though it's just the two of us..."

"No need to worry about that, Vvv! We'll find the others soon enough!"

"Well, let's hope so Bear R...more help would be appreciated, heh..."

"Well it doesnt hurt to have someone around who dispenses helpful advce, though wether or not the others will be able to undersstand it will be a whole other issue entirely." Zeke said with a chuckle, pretty much assuming there would be some language issues between them and the other team members. He could understand Japanese alright and could read it pretty well, speaking it was a whole other problem entirely for thim though, even to the point where he would pretend he didnt even understand it just to get out of possibly having to speak it.

Their conversation was soon cut short but an annoyingly familiar gold streak shot across the skies as it dropped numerous bolts down on the ground below, bolts which soon trasformed into Ugatz. "It's revenge time Go-Ongers with my new upgrades and my army of Ugatz I'll wipe you off of the face of the planet!!!" the over the top and show offy Star Banki shouted as it continued to zoom around in the skies while dropping more Ugatz on to the ground.
