I have him in my version. He basically is Freeza but with another outfit.

That's because it's the Japanese version. The US/UK gamers got screwed, just like with the previous games.

i never liked the TV series of DBZ, but i DID love the movies.

whats funny is I saw all the movies before i ever saw the series. thats what got me hooked.

Tomorrow is finally pay day and I'm on a school field trip! YAY! I'm buying Budokai 3 tomorrow, original Japanese voice-over! YAY! It must be a special version. XD

JAPANESE VOICE OVER?!?!?

WHERE??!

i HATE the american voices

It's the Collector's Edition version but they decided to shove it in the normal version when it turned Platinum. Yes oh yes!

Really? I didn't know that. Well I don't care about the game voices, it's fun to play either way. If I want to hear the Japanese voices, I just watch the DVDs that come with the original japanese version uncut with english subtitles. Finally, Funimation did something right.

Speaking of which, I just purchased the majin buu box set

Sweet! Does the Majin Buu set go up to just before he becomes Kid Buu? So does it include Super Buu?

Majin Buu saga is only when Buu is in his state when Bibidi created him. I think it ends either shortly before Super Buu appears or right when Evil buu is separated from Majin Buu. The Majin Buu saga begins when he is first born. That's right, even Babidi has his own box set, yet in dragonball, they have the entire Red Ribbon Army saga in 2 discs... greedy bastards

Either way, the "Super Buu saga" is actually a separate box set, called "Fusion saga" which seems appropriate since it mainly involves the successful fusion of gotenks and vegito.

And the kid buu saga is also a seperate saga

Out of the entire Majin Buu storyline, the Majin Buu saga DVD set is the most expensive, because it has more episodes than the others.

I'm referring to "Mr. Buu" or, more popularly known as, Fat Buu.

I was pissed at having to pay so much. But I want a good quality DVD with PROFESSIONAL subtitles to go with my japanese audio, not some cheap HK thing

Oh I disagree

I'll grant most of the Japanese DBZ voices are better, but I have a couple of choice exceptions in mind

1. Kuririn- It's bad enough he LOOKS like Charlie Brown, he doesn't need to sound like him! I personally prefer Sonny Strait's "Krillin"

2. Goku- I don't dislike his Japanese voice, but I really don't think he needs to have such a high-pitched voice.

I would say Majin Buu, but I have not heard his Japanese voice, but I love the US voice of Mr. Buu, so when I hear his japanese voice, I'll get back to you on that.

I saw 2 of them at my work. Amazing stuff. Nice pictures with platinum on the cover and back.
