Dragonball Evolution - Talkback

Well like I said look at the screenwriter and how terrible he is.

I knew it was gonna be bad from reading the script, but my hopes were still high for it to be so bad its hilarious. And thats what I got, and I was pleased.

The acting was sub par, mainly from Chatwin with how bored he is. I can't blame him he knew this project wasn't a good idea. There was a hint of "What the **** am I doing here" in his acting. Kind of like Malin Akerman's acting in Watchmen. Joon Park felt more like Tien but none the less was hilarious bro. Chow Yun Fat was easily the best in the film, he did an alright job at Roshi.

Yah I got that same impression from both Chatwin and Emmy Rossum! Your thoughts about this movie are mutual to mines

Well that will definitely increase grossing by putting it on a Friday. I'm predicting it will make maybe $25 million domestic by the end of its run.

But seriously where the hell did the $100 Million budget go? This movie looks like it was done on a $35 Million budget.

They all spent it on top quality whores

Nothing but the best I supposed.

Anyways, I caught a few peaks and whatnot, and as been mentioned before, if I didn't know this movie was about Dragonball, I would have thought it was just another martial arts and fantasy movie.

It's interesting that it's been moved to Good Friday in the US as it's still scheduled for release next Wednesday in the UK as far as the ads shown over here state and I don't think Fox in the UK would change the date at the last min... In any case, I'm definitely going to be one of the first to see it at my local multiplex regardless of the comments about it [ironically enough, a Japanese friend of mine saw the movie and she didn't like it!]

here in the netherlands they will release it on 9th april, same day as the new The Fast and Furious. My mom want to see that one, i was like wtf? you like this kind of movies? Cause she always watch Bollywood movies... So that came as a shock, well not totally i knew she love older action flicks but fast and furious?

So apparently there's confirmation from South American press that the actual Budget ranges betwen $45 Million and $50 Million and the $100 Million was just James Marsters bragging. That makes much more sense if its true, if thats the case it already made up half of its budget from the huge Asia success of the film. This thing just might actually be successful :sly: And successful enough for a sequel :disappoin With Wilmer Valderaama as Vegeta who would probably be a highschool jock that wants to beat up Goku cause he dented his car and Nappa would be the typical big black bodyguard.
