...also, I don't want to argue about Decade's merits/faults at the moment because I just came away from an 'unsolicited discussion' with a Rabid Transformers Animated fan who was trying to rip on my fondness for all things Kamen Rider by proclaiming that TF Animated as "the best TF series ever in terms of story and character design." And then telling me that Kamen Rider (which he has NEVER seen in his entire shaggy-faced life) "has had crap writing from the very beginning in 1992, which is why smart people hate it".

Excuse me, I need to feed the Orphenochs some Stupid Salad tonight. And swear to god, I hope that guy I nearly punched out was NOT a member of these forums in real life.

"Unsolicited discussions" with Transformers fans changed my feelings on the franchise from "fond nostalgia" to "angry contempt." I don't get why the more rabid TF fans can't grasp that other people can like things similar to but distinct from TF.

I usually get it over liking Super Robot Taisen instead of Rider, though...

Man! Kamen Rider isn't as badly written and had bad designs as he imply. Look at all of the KRs (particularly the Kuuga and Agito Riders). They had one of the best designs ever. Storywise, all writters have flaws in each of their story makings and that just puts everyone to the "FLAME POINT". Now that is definitely not what I want since I love to see a pacific way of solving a problem. Like I am both a Tokusatsu fan and at the same time a Transformers fan and I cannot deny it. Both have strengths and weaknesses and should be weighed evenly as we know how to balance a 50 kgs with a 40 kgs (original) + 10 kgs in a weighing scale. Can't things be a lot friendlier?
