...also, I don't want to argue about Decade's merits/faults at the moment because I just came away from an 'unsolicited discussion' with a Rabid Transformers Animated fan who was trying to rip on my fondness for all things Kamen Rider by proclaiming that TF Animated as "the best TF series ever in terms of story and character design." And then telling me that Kamen Rider (which he has NEVER seen in his entire shaggy-faced life) "has had crap writing from the very beginning in 1992, which is why smart people hate it".

Excuse me, I need to feed the Orphenochs some Stupid Salad tonight. And swear to god, I hope that guy I nearly punched out was NOT a member of these forums in real life.

While I admit the writing for KR wasn't perfect, it was still good. Ever since Shin they showed that there's more than one way to loose your humanity besides becoming a cyborg.

He must've got Kamen Rider confused with Power Rangers (has to have never seen either in his life) since he mentioned 1992 as the "beginning" and is also an idiot for not realizing that it's an adaptation and while being meant for children, is not written like the japanese versions are. I accept with information:TV Asahi regrets that the commercial for the movie came right after the ending of the episode, since it wasn't supposed to come off as "You have to watch the movie to find out what happens." Because TV Asahi had gotten such positive responses from fans of Decade who didn't want the series to end.

That's what I was thinking. I mean, come on. Some PR series were actually good. But they're nothing compared to Kamen Rider.

Sounds like that guy can't distinguish between one series that's 17 years old and and another that's probably older than him.

Yeah :/ so what I suggest you do is school him a little, and if he doesn't know he's being schooled (and stays an arrogant ass), then let it go and have him find out for himself :/

I don't mind Decade's ending

but after a couple of spoilers i read about the movie, I think I know why that happened. kinda ruin the big twist in the movie

if you guys have not read it. then try not to. it won't ruin the whole movie. but Tsukasa's past is revealed.
