Daredevil’s Hard Test: SUCCESS.
“Liny, wait—,†Rotor began, but the Whisper had already set off. She pulled in her lower lip hold back a curse, and followed her through the darkness towards the boat. Daredevil sailed through the shadows, wings blurring soundlessly amid the crashing of the waves and the soggy rocking of the towboat, until she landed on the outer deck. She could hear movement nearby. Three people, maximum. One was talking. Sounded like orders. The captain, likely as anything.
Rotor’s Hard Test: FAILED.
Rotor reached the edge of the harbour wall. So far, so good. She watched Daredevil, crouched on the deck. The sorceress made ready to hop over beside her, but she mistimed her launch. Her front smacked against the edge of the boat, and before she could say what was on her mind (which was,
“Ow! My f**king boobs!â€) or get any sort of grip, she slid backwards and fell into the water with a loud splash. Daredevil heard the talking cease, and the footsteps begin.

Namarok’s Hard Test: SUCCESS.
Combat: Stealth vs. Derebith
Derebith rolls to Dodge (12). Derebith sustains no damage.
Stealth opened the assault by spraying a storm of needles from his arm-mounted pods. The Derebith reacted by skittering to one side and out of range, leaving sticky, slimy green footprints in its wake. The idea of moving, however, did not occur to the Namarok’s simpler, bestial brain. The needles stuck right in the hard skin of its armoured head. The Dhohanoid twitched its facial muscles a few times, dully registering pain, and then let loose with an angry roar at the Tager, flinging foul spittle from its grizzly maw.
Combat: Lancer vs. Ramachese
Ramachese rolls a Challenging Strength Test to remain upright (10).
Ramachese’s Hard Test: FAILED.
The Ramachese is knocked down, rendering it unable to defend this turn. The Ramachese rolls 4 dice for damage (20).
Ramachese sustains 12 points of Flesh Wounds, then 8 points of Light Wounds and suffers a -1 Test Penalty to all Actions.
The Ramachese spotted Lancer charging towards it, and readied itself to defend against the gruesome, crimson blades, only to be taken off its guard when the Tager screeched to a halt in front of it. Rather than attack, the Eldritch creature’s throat muscles visibly flexed, vibrating, and then from somewhere beneath that pale, skull-like visage came a terrible and forceful howl that momentarily deafened the Dhohanoid and knocked it flat on its back. The monster squirmed, but Lancer was already upon it, hacking with her blades. She left two gashes in an,
'X,' formation in its chest and cut through to the dark flesh beneath, drawing a shallow pool of gungy, black blood.
Combat: Feast vs. Derebith
Derebith rolls Dodge (25). It rolls 1 die for damage (8). Derebith sustains 8 points of Flesh Wounds and suffers no Test Penalties.
The Derebith caught sight of Feast coming down towards it, and once again it tried to skitter to safety, but was not quite fast enough to avoid feeling the sharp talons rake down its back, rending strips of foul, mangy, black fur and skin that clung to the Vampire’s paw. The rodent Dhohanoid glared with pale green eyes at its airborne assailant. Steam rose from its back as the cuts boiled and singed its awful flesh.
The Namarok, although lacking eyes of any kind, seemed almost to be glowering at Stealth. It snarled and snorted, like a rabid dog, and charged towards the Tager on all fours. Its jaw opened wide, its slobbering tongue hung out, its teeth and claws glimmered like knives in the sun, digging scores in the tiles. The beast was intent on nothing else bar striking down the one who dared to come into its territory, and worst of all, bring harm to it.
Combat: Namarok vs. Stealth
Namarok rolls Strength (+4) + Fighting (3) + Savage (0) to attack Stealth (18). Stealth must roll his Armed Fighting, Fighting or Dodge Skill to defend. If he does not beat the Namarok and its attack is successful, he must engage in a Strength Feat Contest (as in, roll half his Strength Attribute, rounded down, and add it to his base Strength) in order to avoid being entangled.
