That wont be ruled out. Buffy's whole Xander-lust lately is probably what drove her to fulfill Satso's feelings for her since she's likely never to "ruin" the innocense Xander continues to represent, since she doesnt think she's good enough to repay that innocense

Except it has been ruled out. Several times. Joss himself has stated he has no use for Xander and doesn't consider the character interesting at all. I imagine the only reason they haven't killed him off is because A)fan outrage and B)doing so would actually require paying attention to the character unless you want to go the Simpsons route.

Buffy's never going to see Xander as anything more then "a nice guy" which leads to another sore point.

She always has a "reason" to sexually play with other people her common sense tells her to keep away from, be it someone with a terrifying legacy, someone who cant distingush, or someone whose affections and beleif in her could be shattered, because she will always think of herself as flawed and incapable of being what everyone beleives her to be.

Except common sense should be screaming the opposite by now. She was raised by a loving mother with an intact, loving family and friends. Buffy SHOULD be a lot more mature and stable then she IS under Joss. She's survived how many disasters and other horrible things because of them and her.

No Joss's little explanation for things is retarded. This isn't anything new. It's the same logic used to justify her relationship and love affair with Spike. "She needs to feel LOVED... by someone". All he's really done is change the gender of her partner because it's SHOCKING and so forth...

As far as character intergrity and continuity... Do a search for Scribblings by Lizbeth Marcs. She's a fantastic writer who has written FAR better stories with these characters in much more realistic and well thought out stories.

This is someone who understands how to plan out a story and can really write one where characters grow and develop beyond a certain point. Read this then compare to the comic.

No, I was calling your idea of it being logical stupid. There's quite a difference between that and outright calling you it. Too be honest, I couldn't be bothered to go into a big explanation as to why as I have done several times before in other threads but you just ignore them.

I sincerely doubt any of the meaningful cast pays attention to what's going on. I do know Nick Brendon was at least aware that Xander was now Nick Furyish instead of a carpenter at the begining of the series but I don't know if he's still paying attention.

Sarah I'm fairly sure has long since run screaming away from the role of Buffy as have MT from Dawn and most of the others.
