[Cartoon] Beware The Batman -TALK UP

Finally got around to watching episode 3. I'm loving just how competent the villains are. Anarchy isn't the Joker, but he presented a real enough threat just the same.

I like how this was the closest we are going to get to a Batman vs. Moon Knight fight. I get Anarky's redesign to play up his parallel nature to Batman, but I still miss his old design. I would have loved to see his hat used as a throwing weapon.

I loved the Bat-video game controller

However, the characters are still very stiff outside action scenes.

I loved that scene and how nonchalant Alfred was. You could tell this wasn't the first time Alfred had to do something like that.

I wasn't so sure about the animation when this was first announced, but I'm enjoying this series. I hope it'll last longer than YJ and the GL series did.

I think they're getting better at animating. Episode 4 didn't seem as stiff as the first couple.

Except when they run straight

One thing I really like is that they're using the entrepreneur Bruce Wayne instead of only the playboy from the first two Nolan movies.

Also, Lady Shiva!

Yeah, that's a side of Bruce Wayne that I think rarely gets showcased. I think people tend to forget that he's more then just a playboy billionaire vigilante.

Kinda behind on this, but how is the show? Is it worth giving a watch?

The show gave a bad first impression when the promotional images originally surfaced. But the actual show so far has been pretty solid.

I have a couple of issues with some of the character animations (most notably Bruce without the cowl), but they have been improving it little by little and the actions scenes have been pretty good from the start.

The show is giving a chance to some of Batman's lesser known foes and and it's allowing Batman to make mistakes, which help sell the setting of this being Batman's early years.
