All Time Favorite Sentai Villains

Boy, Sentai brings out the worst in some characters, huh? For every team that comes to save the day, a foe's around the corner to meet them halfway. So, who are your personal favorite Sentai villains, and why?

My all time favorite Super Sentai villain is Count Radiguet of the Vyram ("Chojin Sentai Jetman"). There were four central villains trying to take down the Jetman. Grey's plots tended to be just about removing Jetman from the picture, Maria applied sheer brute force, and Tran would try to alter and turn around something the Jetman enjoyed, or have them contend with one another instead. But Radiguet was on a level entirely different from them. He was a true manipulator, the type off villain that defined Glorious Bastard in every way possible. He wouldn't just attack you, or try something psychological alone. He would attack the very essence of who you are. He would take oblivion itself, and send it your way. Radiguet would manipulate others for his own purposes, and would always bring it back into his favor, no matter how powerful the enemy. Every attack from him wasn't just destroying Jetman or making them fight, it was forcing them to upgrade. It was forcing them to better both their power and themselves, or else face extinction. Radiguet was cold and let you know that, and would even tell you that you are being manipulated. Yet he would still have you fooled, and still somehow keep himself in the game.

Enter is one of my all time favourite

But since the majority here hates busters, so I would mention my best villain that could be accepted

So far, I'd go with Ahames. She's wicked yet she's pretty (fallin love with her actually)
And she has that great ambition. And her death was glorious too

long live Ahames-sama~

My favorite villian would be Basco ta Jolokia

Basco was ruthless and arrogant who didn't care about anyone but himself and would go to great means to get what he want. He betrayed Akared and Marvelous, stabbed Daramas in the back figuratively and literally, blew up his monkey companion, held up an ambulance and almost let a kid died, almost blew up a high school, and presumably killed sentai members for their grand powers. Also he had a wicked monster form and the final battle between him and Marvelous was one of the best fights in sentai history.

Individual villains or groups?

If it is groups, I'm going with the Saima Clan. The entire sibling storyline for them was great, especially towards the end with Zylpheeza's return.

If you mean individual villains then I'm going to go with Junior/GashaSkull from KakuRanger. I would go with Jin from DaiRanger, but he really wasn't a true villain in the sense of villainhood. Junior, on the other hand, was and he was an incredible one. He was fun, he was threatening (hell, he took a chainsaw to Jaraiya), and he accomplished his main task, even if it killed him.

Some of my other favorites include Radiguet, Grifferzor, Rijewel, Rio, Mele, Zylpheeza, Basco, Juuzo, and Dr Kempu. I would love to say Ahames or even the emperor from Flashman (I love his design), but I haven't see much from either of those series to really say such.

Mine would have to be Ryuuya from Timeranger. He isn't all mighty or particularly powerful, but is just a human fighting his own fate in order to survive. He sends the Timerangers into the past in order to fight Dorunero and his gang, manipulating events to ensure his own survival. I can't word eloquently what makes Ryuuya such a great villain, but changing the past and ruthlessly finding a scapegoat to take on TimeFire and die in his place as he allows the year 2000 to be destroyed is definitely up there with some of the diabolical things other Sentai villains have done.

The Saima are superb as well. Zylpheeza and Salamandes are both great.

The thing with Ryuuya is that he's doing everything he's done, but not only to save his own life, but also to protect the year 3000; I mean, he knew that even his self sacrifice wouldn't prevent the destruction of the year 2000, or if it did, it would have been the year 3000 which would have been destroyed. It's obvious he has behaved as a jerk, but as far as I know, he's not the one who made Naoto become Timefire, and he's not the one who sent the Zenitto who killed Timefire. Ryuuya manipulated the past to be as much as possible as identical as it would have been IF HE HADN'T DONE ANYTHING; in fact, had it not been for his manipulations, the Timeranger would have been dead much earlier.
Ryuuya did what he did as an act of self preservation, but while he is obviously a jerk, the scale of the "evilness" of his actions is questionable.

PS: btw, I'm sure that it has been noticed that both Timereds have the same name : Ryuuya Asami and Tatsuya Asami, since both "Ryuu" and "Tatsu" are in fact sharing the same Kanji (the "dragon"'s kanji (竜), Ryuu being the "on" way of saying it and "Tatsu" the "kun" way).

if you're a villain who temporarily lost your memory, fell in love with a girl only to regain said memories and mercilessly kill her afterwards, you are the biggest dick that ever walked the earth. yes I'm looking at you, Radiguet.

I also thought the Saima Clan were great, being polar opposites of the Tatsumi family who grew up with warm and love. Grandienne is one helluva bitch towards her children.

I like Burai a lot, despite being in Zyuranger which IMO is a pretty bad series.

Enter IMO was awesome as well. He's basically a good-natured villain something hard to pull off. Doctor Mazenda was cool since she was so petty and shallow you almost felt sorry for her.
