Boy, Sentai brings out the worst in some characters, huh? For every team that comes to save the day, a foe's around the corner to meet them halfway. So, who are your personal favorite Sentai villains, and why?
My all time favorite Super Sentai villain is Count Radiguet of the Vyram ("Chojin Sentai Jetman"). There were four central villains trying to take down the Jetman. Grey's plots tended to be just about removing Jetman from the picture, Maria applied sheer brute force, and Tran would try to alter and turn around something the Jetman enjoyed, or have them contend with one another instead. But Radiguet was on a level entirely different from them. He was a true manipulator, the type off villain that defined Glorious Bastard in every way possible. He wouldn't just attack you, or try something psychological alone. He would attack the very essence of who you are. He would take oblivion itself, and send it your way. Radiguet would manipulate others for his own purposes, and would always bring it back into his favor, no matter how powerful the enemy. Every attack from him wasn't just destroying Jetman or making them fight, it was forcing them to upgrade. It was forcing them to better both their power and themselves, or else face extinction. Radiguet was cold and let you know that, and would even tell you that you are being manipulated. Yet he would still have you fooled, and still somehow keep himself in the game.
