And thus, a new hashtag was born.If only I was rich.I'd donate a whole bunch to Japan. It's a shame it had to be that bad.Just a few years ago, Cyclone Nargis struck Burma, a country in Asia...

I am really looking forward to may parents giving me this months allowance... just paid my tuition for this semester but i will give as much as I possibly can... can someone repost the link to the japanese red cross and Nerefir's list please?

As for Ozawa... damm... Like a boss indeed! The guy sure is tougher than he seems... but is there any kind of confirmation on that besides 2ch or something?

Right now the news here in Portugal focused a bit on the japanese people rather than the destruction cause... It made me cry to see how prepared and strong they are.

People were reacting with such nerves of steel and hanging on to their emotions... I would be totally wrecked and crying like a baby, but most people i saw in the news were clearly disturbed, but in a "i lost my cellphone damm it"" kinda way... They were taking it very realistically and positively as they possibly could...

I usually prayed every night, and I prayed for them, and even felt the urge to scold God a little bit... (not trying to start any "God punishment" conversation again ^^)

Next time you pray thank god more people have not been confirmed dead so far. If this were to happen in a country like Indonesia or Malaysia the death toll would certainly be over 10,000 already.

According to 2ch they were filming for the sentai movie. Cap'n Marvelous was standing atop some tall thing when it started, and the staff got scared but he just stood there.

Wow, that is just awesome right there. :O_O: :buttrock:

You know this earthquake does give me a great respect towards the Japanese. The fact that they are so calm even in this situation makes me so warm inside. "The Japanese are strong remember that."

Like the story about a mom and daughter were trying to escape the tsunami. They were in a car and got swept away. When they were saved a day later, they might have been a little bit scared but their reaction was more like "surprised" of being alive.

Normally in any other country people would've have cried, but man.

Again the Japanese are strong, I haven't seen them crying yet.

I totally agree. I just wish other countries like the U.S.A. that we're living in were more like them.
