You Can Finally Play As Marin In Something!
There have been many amazing games in the Zelda series over the years that could claim the award for Best Of Them All, but if you ask me, my personal favorite will always remain Link’s Awakening. Link was dumped on an island so packed with secrets that I was still finding them years later. Unusual for a Zelda game, it was packed with jokes and references to other games, and I loved that. It’s also one of those rare Zeldas where the story and writing were as strong and captivating as the gameplay — the series wouldn’t come close to this richness of character and undercurrent of tragedy until Majora’s Mask seven years later. The game’s characters have rarely been seen since then, only showing up as collectible trophy figures in Smash Bros. games.
