Gurren Lagann: The Movie Coming To US Theaters
Most of you are familiar with Gurren Lagann as an anime, but not as many might know it was also a movie. Well, in a sense — Gurren Lagann: The Movie is one of those deals where anime footage was re-edited and re-cut into a feature. It’s more than you think, though: the story takes place across two films, not one, and both halves contain over 20 minutes of new material. Fathom Events has announced the re-release of Gurren Lagann: The Movie (both of ’em) in US theaters — for the first time.
