Crunchyroll’s Anime NYC Announcement List

Crunchyroll makes announces many acquisitions at Anime NYC 2023 Panel, including Tower of God Season 2, Dr. Stone Season 3 Part 2. Goblin Slayer II and more. Another Anime NYC is in the record books and Crunchyroll had a large presence there, as we predicted. But they also announced many acquisitions and confirmed a lot more during their industry panel. They sent us a full list of everything for our convenience and yours. Some of the titles on this list aren’t too surprising (of course there will be more One Piece). But there are some interesting trends. More manga webtoons are being adapted into anime these days…the new hit Tower of God started as one, and more adaptions are on the way: “Solo Leveling” is scheduled for next January and “True Beauty” will be simulcast later in 2024. A dub was confirmed for the My Hero Academia special “U/A Heroes Battle” and something called “Senpai is an Otokonoko” was announced for later in the year. Their full Anime NYC list

Tower of God Season 2 Trailer got finally dropped by Crunchyroll. This Crunchyroll original Anime is not based on Japanese Media like Manga or Light novels. Tower of God, an Anime Adaptation of a Korean Webtoon. So the Source material not being Japanese gave fans a fresh perspective that doesn’t rely much on Anime tropes. In the First Season, we see the friendship that is possibly romantic between Bam and Rachel. Rachel told Bam it was her dream to see the real stars, and she could only see them if they got to climb the Tower of God. The setting for this anime’s home world is a massive space colony rather than a planet. Tower of God, a massive structure with 135 stories,exists.Those who succeed in rising to the top can fulfill their dreams. Nobody truly knows what lies at the very top, although some who made it to a particular deluge had lived for up to 500 to 600 years. People reached the top, lived for a millennium, and made a wish. Each floor doesn’t feel like it’s indoors. A tower floor has terrain, rivers, Oceans, and skies. A floor is like a planet of its own. In the First Season, We get to see Bam’s dedication and love for
