Spider-Man Lotus” is a movie made by a fan for fans of Spider-Man. It’s like seeing your favorite fanfiction turned into a real movie. Even though they didn’t have a big budget (just over $100,000), I still had a good time watching it. The action scenes and special effects aren’t super fancy, but I liked the story and the actors.
Andrew Garfield was rather an unknown talent to the world until a spider’s bite webbed him to international fame. In 2012 the world was intrigued by the new, ever-smiling Spider-Man. We watched as the young actor transformed the old, familiar history of the web swinger, into a thrilling performance like no other.
Under the Banner of Heaven is an upcoming True Crime drama. This limited series is based on a Best Selling Non-fiction book of the same title. Jon Krakauer wrote the book.
Andrew Garfield is supposed to have a trilogy of Amazing Spider-Man films. It never happened when Amazing Spider-Man 2 did not reach the expectations it has but eventually it developed a cult following. Thanks to the concept of of Multiverse and Spider-Man: No Way Home, he gets to reprise his version of Spider-man. We also get to see him with Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland. The three actors that played Peter Parker together in one film is an experience. An experience we never asked for but needed in our lives.
There’s always something to be said about how actors and actresses portray literary or comic book characters in TV shows and movies. For if they aren’t portrayed in the way some people expect, they’ll get called out on it. However, if the films aren’t making money, even with great performances, there’s nothing the actors can do to stop change.
Just when you thought there couldn’t be any more sequels to the “Amazing Spider-Man” universe.
Sony Pictures has released the anticipated first trailer for the upcoming “Amazing Spider-Man 2”. As usual for many trailers these days, SPOILERS in the trailer below.
