True, but not to the same degree as yellow.

Either, really. They need to shake it up sometimes, and since we know Toei doesn't have the nuts to have a female Red, take what you can get. There's some yellows who I think would have been better as female characters, like Tiger Ranger and Ginga Yellow, because I find those to be slightly feminine designs.
