Lazenby was actually pretty badass, it's just that the movie he was in sucked and he really wasn't all that memorable as a Bond. But the dude was a hoss, combat instructor for the military and police in real life, and that movie The Man From Hong Kong was awesome, fuhgeddaboudit.
I've never really cared for Roger Moore that much, don't know why. He always looked like more of a librarian than a secret agent. He was in some of the best Bond movies of all time, but I can't help but think how much better than would have been with Connery as the lead.

Lazenby was good, especially for it being his first acting gig. On Her Majesty's Secret Service is an amazing Bond movie -- but it's one of the movies that's mostly loved by the hardcore Bond fans. Casual fans find it "boring" or whatever. And for me, Diana Rigg outshone Lazenby in that movie. I think she brought him up to a level to where his inexperience wasn't completely noticeable, so she's the star of that movie. And Lazenby's better than Brosnan or Craig, IMO.
Personally, I don't think On Her Majesty's Secret Service would have worked with Connery.
Say what you want about the rest of the movie, but Tomorrow Never Dies' teaser is one of the best.

I hated it, but not because I found it boring. In fact, I actually liked it a lot for the first half hour or so, but the rest of the movie was about nothing. It had the strangest, most randomly nonsensical plot of maybe any James Bond film, and there was very little payoff in the form of good action or espionage or any witty dialogue. To be honest it reminded me of a lot of those really bad James Bond-ripoff spy flicks from Hong Kong and Japan in the 70's that would start off with a reasonable plot and then end up in a space fortress or underwater castle where everybody is wearing tin foil suits and shooting ray guns.
I don't think so either. Really I can't see anybody else in that role, in that film. It was just enough for Lazenby to pop in and say "**** y'all!" and do some goofy bullshit and pop back out.

Puhleeeeaaaaase! Even if you don't count Xenia, best Brosnan Bond girl would definitely go to Natalia or Christmas Jones. Something about Michelle Yeoh just isn't sexy. I don't know whether it's because she talks like she has Asperger's or because she kicks ass like a man, but I'm just not attracted to her in any way.

He was great in Goldeneye, which was just a great movie period, but from then on out he got kinda dull. I liked him in his debut so much because he got a little rough and tumble and wasn't just a martini-drinking pretty boy, but he just acted like a lush in the rest of his movies and ended up being more image than substance.
