Who was the Best James Bond

Pierce Brosnan got me into Bond. So I'm going with him.

Same here... but that's most likely because my first Bond film was Goldeneye which made me like 007 movies. Goldeneye holds a special place in me when I was a kid, lots of memories of my dad and I having fun watching it together... and the time we watched it at school because one of my teachers thought "Pierce Brosnan is soooooooo HOT!!!"

I think Timothy Dalton's the best. He's disgustingly overlooked. He's the closest to the Bond of the novels but was still mindful of how the movies colored the character of Bond. He read every one of the Bond books before filming (and it shows), and was knowledgeable about the films. A shame he only made two Bonds -- but those are two great Bond movies. (Not to mention that GoldenEye was originally written for him -- that would have rocked).

What he said, hands down I'm going with Timothy Dalton. The Living Daylights still remains as one of my favorite Bond flicks.

Dalton was like a cross between the suave witticism of Connery's Bond and the no-nonsense, mission-oriented combat machine that is Craig's, but didn't really have the spark that makes either man so special in their respective areas. He's B+ Bond.

Better than the following two Brosnan Bond movies at least. But thats not saying much.

Dalton. More of a personal favourite really, I liked how he portrayed Bond, I liked Living Daylights and A License to Kill, and I liked his look. Connery and Moore were great too in their own ways.
