Who is the worst Final Fantasy character?

The entire cast of FF7, except for Cid. Cid was the only character in that awful game that I cared at all about. The rest of them were badly written, cliched, and boring.

At the time FF1 came out, the Garland "twist" was one of the most sophisticated pieces of RPG storytelling to date. It has only aged poorly in the way that the first couple Dragon Quests have, but it still deserves some credit for being groundbreaking in a way that many subsequent games in the FF series absolutely weren't.

You are forced to use her one time. The rest of the time you don't need her in your party. Why stop playing an otherwise great game?
