Very true, indeed. This one in Wal-Mart selling 50-55 inches for only 600 dollars. It's not that bad and I'm going to take it very soon. I'm in needed for serious upgrade!

You won't buy a new one? Why don't you just take your good old tv to a repair store? They will fix your tv for you. That's how they did that to my tv while I was in New Jersey. I don't really need to buy a new one.
As of right now, HDTV's don't last longer. They don't. That's why my old HDTV is useless now. It costs 500 to get it fixed. It's not worth of it, let me tell you. Not in these days of bad economy. I'm saving my money.

I'm sure by the time my TV breaks down HDTVs will improve. I never jump on new tech anyways since I find new tech takes a while to perfect.

But my computer monitor is HD. Now if only there was a way I could hook my cable box and video game consoles up to it as well... That would be awesome.
I understand what you are saying, but as stupid as reality TV shows are, I would rather watch that then watch something as stupid as the Total Drama cartoons.
Seriously? A cartoon of a reality show? Who in their right mind thought this would be successful, and why has it been successful? These are two things that never should have mixed! It's not even interactive! If they made it interactive, maybe to where the viewers decided who gets voted off, MAYBE it would be a little more redeeming.

I have nothing left to say. That's about to sum it up. That's why reality shows should never existed. We used to have good entertainment back in the good old days. I doubt the reality shows will be struggling to survive in the future. That's why I predicted that they will be gone in ten years' time. They're very annoying to begin with.
Jersey Shore is really the bad taste to my home state, New Jersey. They're the bad Representative to my home state. To sprout all that garbage in my eyes..I can never understand why we're watching this kind of garbage.
Today's people just wants their fifteen minutes of fame, that's it. They just want to be an attention seeker. :sly:
If no HDTV for you, then what about using it for watching your tv shows from your very computer to hook it up? That's how I did it. The picture doesn't look the same. They're far superior!

Uh, IceFish, I just don't think it's a good idea if you're sitting down in front of your computer monitor if you're watching your tv shows, you know? That's what I do everyday. They're now acting like on demand. I can watch anything I want and then hook it up on my HDTV.
It's inevitable. The future of Television is evolving very fast right before your very eyes. We already have internet tv, but it's growing pretty rapidly. There's VIZIO HDTV which provide internet tv. There's HULU PLUS in VIZIO HDTV. Tell me, IceFish, do you still find it a waste of money? Trust me..it's a worth to get it.
