What is a Rickroll?

Okay I'm going to forbid the whole "if you have to ask" rule and tell you.

Rick Rolling is pretty much an internet meme which is played out like this. Person A tells a group of people online that he has this awesome video of something of great importance, like the trailer to some highly anticipated movie or someone of importance doing something crazy. The group clicks the link person A provided and it leads to Rick Astley's hit Never Gonna Give You Up not the promised video. The group either gets angry or laughs and Person A has his shits and giggles.

Of course the meme has evolved today in to spectacles like this

I think his difficulty understanding may have something to do with the fact that English isn't Chronotia's first language, resulting in confusion at terms like "meme." That and Haitien's explanation was pretty convoluted even by English standards.
