And besides, if Toei WERE bought out, what would happen to everything BESIDES their superhero shows? You know, REGULAR TV shows? You know Toei produces movies as well, right? Especially REGULAR movies! They also produced chanbara flicks, ultraviolent movies, yakuza flicks, etc. And their anime stuff (which is distributed by other companies in the US)! Remember, Toei IS an anime pioneer!
It's common sense for a US company NOT to buy out Toei, because they'd be sitting on MILLIONS, perhaps BILLIONS of productions up the wazoo, and the legal entanglements would be cataclysmic!!! Disney would go out of business immediately, and nobody would be stupid enough to come and pick up the pieces . . .
Yes, Toei has produced the most superhero shows in Japan, but that's not ALL they ever do. Stop having a one-track mind.
