What do your other Friends think of Toku?

every single one of my friends grew up with bioman, flashman, maskman, spielban, etc... so they love those shows. But when I show them newer stuff, they act like they're not interested but ti definately shows they like it. It's to the point where I think they are closet fans but are too afraid to let it out. But I only got a small number of friends into it.

They do, however, think the boys in the show are hot.
So they'll watch a couple episodes at my house... drool over the boys, make fun of the henshin and fight scenes, and then drool over the guys once more. I'm pretty sure they download them in the comfort of their own home on a regular basis.

Kinda got a friend of mine into Den-O through TV-N's fansubs. And I've occasionally mentioned it with my other friends at school, but they don't seem to care either way, and are pretty much indifferent about the issue. Otherwise I never bring it up and basically nobody knows I watch tokusatsu.

Most of my friends are into anime stuff like Bleach, Naruto etc so its really hard to get them to watch and like toku. They don't seem to care even when i delibrately watch a toku show on my laptop during class recess. Even one of my friends once ask if tokusatsu was an anime and i told her that toku is a genre by itself and not a part of anime :laugh: But at least my friends like their own stuff and i like mine so its cool...

I'm too afraid to admit it. My friends are be okay with it but my sister already has too much fodder agaist me. Don't want her to tell anyone I'm into Power Rangers. It's enough, about the comics, anime, and video games, sci-fi and this would just make people think I'm too immature. I get enough looks by people when I tell them I'm into comics.

I've got one of my friends into Kamen Rider, but he was upset at first that it wasn't like Saban's Masked Rider. He really liked Dax's little pet. I pretty much gave up on my little brother. while i got him to watch THE FIRST, he kept calling Bat and Spider Batman and Spider-Man, respectively
