Like I pretty much said already: You're already making a mistake. Just because you don't have a girl doesn't mean that you shouldn't celebrate. You need to use February 14th to your advantage, and warm up to some pretty ladies. Use it to your advantage, and maybe by mid-week your single status could change. Be charming.

I honestly think your anniversary with whoever your SO is should be much more important than Valentine's Day. Most modern holidays are super-commercialized, but Valentine's Day is so completely "started by greeting card companies" that I just can't care about it.

I usually only do something very minor with my husband for Valentine's Day and save the big stuff for our annual vacation or anniversary dinner.

Right, right. It shouldn't always be defined as you and your girl day, it is also go and get a girl day also. It's a day for everybody single and non-single.

I believe you are right Japanfan, I remember when I had a girlfriend, 2 years ago, it was fun, amazing, great.
Nowadays I feel limited with a girl but that's just me, now thanks to your advice, I plan to have a loooooot of fun this sunday, although I'm not changing my status anytime soon.

Well see, that's where I fucked up. My girlfriend have our 1-year anniversary two days after Valentine's Day, on the 16th. I should've started going out with her ON Valentine's, despite how cliche it is. Now, because I didn't, I have to get something for V-Day and our anniversary! :redface2: Which, since it's a 1-year, if I get something random it'll look really bad.

All I know is, I really liked My Bloody Valentine 3D, which kind of gives me bias for my opinion on Valentine's Day too. :sweat:
