Ultraman Leo - Talkback

I don't have my copies with me right now (as I'm stuck in camp every weekdays) and its been a long time since I watch the episodes. Now I got a question, too. Are they trying to imply that the kid belongs to Dan? Know what the scary thing is? From what I remembered, monster-of-the-week somehow has this eye design which was shaped kinda like Ultraseven's eyes! (maybe its just me). Am I refering to the right episode in the first place?

Spoiler:
[HIDE]They got "eaten" in episode 40. And not a single person was being replaced.[/HIDE]

Fans can always compare them using status and ranks, something like Father is the overall command for their unit and King being a legend etc, so I don't want to go into detail. All I know is "King" is definitely higher ranked than a "Father."

BTW, Igadevil, is that Amamoto Eisei/Shinigami Hakase in one of Leo's episodes?

Yep that was him!!!!!.

Ok, if u ever get ahold of that episode 9 lemme know 'cause I'll be finishing up the series sometime this week.

The Ultra Brothers vs. Leo Brothers was the best episode so far. I loved it.

So are Leo & Astra actually considered Ultramen considering they are from a different galaxy?.

What is the story behind the meteor coming to Earth, the attack on M78, the key that Astra has, and Leo Bros fighting Ultra Bros over the key. Hell, even Dan began kicking the **** out of Gen.

Awesome ep, I can't wait to see part 2 of this. :buttrock:

They are Ultraman as well, its just that they are not from the same planet as the rest of the Ultraman whom we know -- the Ultra Brothers came from M78 while the Leo Brothers from Nebula L77.

[HIDE]By the end of part 2, the Leo Brothers are officially regarded as part of the Ultra Brothers, with the rest of the Ultra family giving their approval.[/HIDE]

[HIDE]The Astra whom you saw in part 1 was actually a fake (Babalou-seijin in disguise). The key is an all-powerful weapon which was once used by Ultra Papa to destroy one whole planet of evil beings, with just one shot. Therefore, with it stolen, it posed as an ultimate threat to anyone or anything else.

Leo was kinda angry when he saw his "brother" getting beaten up by the Ultra Brothers and therefore tried to protect him, not knowing that he's not the real Astra. Gen beating the hell out of Dan before transforming into Leo was an awesome scene. Take that, Ultraseven!

The "meteor" heading towards earth was actually the Ultra Planet, M78. After the key was taken out by fake Astra, it caused the planet to lose its orbit and steer to another direction, and conveniently, towards earth.

Extra note -- You will get to see Babalou-seijin in Ultraman Mebius as well. He was the fake Tsurugi in one of the Mebius episodes.[/HIDE]

This series rocks. So now MAC is destroyed, this means Dan is dead aswell?... Did my eyes decieve me?... The Kaijuu Alien went ontop of MAC HQ and then literally dropped to Earth squashing the entire HQ with everyone except Gen inside?... Jesus Christ.

Now this new mysterious villian is appearing (Commander Black?). While Gen is living with a Family and there is no defence for Earth besides Leo. I got a feeling all hell is gonna break lose. :buttrock:

Dan escapes to live another day. You'll notice that during the chaos, the Ultraseven tune was playing in the background, IIRC. Since he's an Ultraman, I'm sure he used one of his powers/abilities to escape from explosion before Gen transformed into Leo.

Commander Black looks cool and is in control of a group of UFO-themed aliens, which is what Leo will be facing from now on. But unfortunately, I think that he has got the worst and lamest ending to an Ultraman villain's life. Until then, keep on watching.

IIRC, Anne ultimately revealed that the kid (Uli) was not actually hers, and she adopted/was looking after him for some reason. Been a while since I saw that one so I forget the specifics though, so I could be waaaaaay off. But I recall that line being in there somewhere.

Also, worth pointing out: V3's Junko, Ono Hizuru herself, was in episode #32!

BTW, Igadevil, is that Amamoto Eisei/Shinigami Hakase in one of Leo's episodes?

As FK confirmed, it's him all right. I like the robot guy in that episode.

And man, I'm not really decided on Leo's finale, but the second-to-last episode?

DAMN.

[HIDE]Leo gets frozen solid and hacked up and then chucked in a grave. Brutal.[/HIDE]

I'll be finishing the series off today and tomorrow so I'm looking forward to it. It's just weird seeing Gen with a Family and not in some Space Organization like we've seen all Ultras with.

If you want an homage to Leo check out the Ultraman Zearth 2 movie. Even though it's a comedy it has a lot in common with Leo. The basic plot structure [evil Ultraman Ultraman Shadow defeats Zearth in the first scene, Zearth's human form Katsuto learning how to do the Ultra Heel Drop kick and defeating Shadow with it.], Katsuto using a capsule monster against Shadow, and most importantly: Koji Moritsugu playing the attack team's [Mydo] captain, Ban Satsuma. Now the funny thing is Satsuma keeps dropping hints that Satsuma is actually Dan/Ultraseven in disguise.

I watched the first Zearth movie yesterday.. I noticed 2 actors in it from previous Ultras (Ultraman and Seven) but the movie itself made me sick to my stomach.
