Ultraman 80 comes to Earth as one of the newest members of the Ultra Space Garrison (it is revealed in Ultraman Mebius that he is the ninth Ultra Brother), in the form of science teacher, Takeshi Yamato. After a five-year hiatus since the departure of Ultraman Leo, monsters started reappearing again
I got the dubbed set. I'm just not sure how many episodes are dubbed exacally. I watched episode 1 and I did enjoy it alot.
Me with the late Noriaki Yuasa, who directed episodes 1-6, 9, 10, 13, 14,
17, 18, 21, 22, 25, 26, 29, 30, 33, 34, 39, 40, 43, and 44 of ULTRAMAN 80.
He is best known as the director of the original Gamera films (1965-1971).
Anyway I'm almost done Volume 1 of 80 and I gotta say I fucken love this series so far. I'm enjoying alot more then the last few Ultras I watched. Alot more action aswell.
I now kinda wish more Ultras were made in the '80s.
