Name: Brighteyes
Faction: Maximal
Rank: New recruit
Appearance: Brighteyes is a youthful Maximal with a slender, blue body with grey plating on his chest, waist and shoulders. His head casing is grey and smooth with a white headfin, his forehead adorned by his Maximal emblem. His face is blue with orange eyes and a white goatee on his chin. There are patches of grey and black fur on his back, forearms and shins, and his black, clawed hands and feet carry over in both modes. In robot mode, his tail can detach and become his guitar/sonic rifle.
Alternate Mode: Ring-tailed lemur
History: Brighteyes did not originally want to be a soldier. Coming from a peaceful family, he wanted to use his musical talents to entertain the troops. However, he soon realised the threat of Deathsaurus meant that everything he loved was in danger, and reluctantly he joined under Apex Prime's command*.
Often acting as a shoulder to cry on, Brighteyes is ready to carry the weight of the problems of his fellow Maximals, and often invites them to drink with him. He uses the pain of his friends as motivation to progress in music, and invents new melodies just for them.
On the battlefield, he prefers non-lethal methods of defeating his enemies, such as using a hypnotising lullaby from his sonic rifle to render them asleep, and has even gone so far as to come up with a frequency that disables all energy-based weapons for several cycles. As such, he is often berated by the battle-hardened Apex Prime, but one other aspect of Brighteyes' character is that he will never back down, not even to his leader.
