Just as Spitfire was done digging he spotted something in the distance. It appeared to be ab unusual sized arachnid. Guessing that the fact that was large made it unnatural, he figured t had to be a Predacon. Spitfire carefully aimed the machine gun attached to his left arm and shot. "Here's hoping I'm right." He thought as the animal would make an interesting research subject otherwise, and autopsy only would only tell him so much.
Wanderer approached the Maximal ship via a different path than the other Predacons in an attempt to make the assault a pincer attack. Before he could even see the ship however something hit him with just enough force to hurt. When he looked in the direction the shot came from he spotted a Maximal in Robot Mode a bit off. Ignoring his plans Wanderer decided to deal with that nuisance first.
