Trading Rangers for Riders

The time has come for Power Rangers to pass on the tourch of the Successful American toku to Kamen Rider Dragon Knight and it's many future incarnations.

And I for one welcome that change because Kamen Rider Dragon Knight alone is a lot better than all the Saban era Power Rangers combined(Let the haters cometh) Because Power Rangers was more lighthearted and kid friendly while Dragon Knight is dark and gripping. It's probably the only kids show that my father, a 42 year old electrition is willing to watch. Dragon Knight takes its viewers seriously. Hopefully the next adaptations of Kamen Rider also takes us seriously.

I'm ready for the transition from Rangers to Riders. But are you?:patriotic:

I am ready as you are. KRDK has proven that it is not just for kids to watch, but also for teens, tweens (twenties), thirties onward can also watch. The show itself is something full of masterpiece writing and that I really can agree that we really need a new adaptation by the same group.

May the motorcade still continue and that I salute Power Rangers for what they have done, the memories of once. The memories of my childhood as a Power Rangers fan, I shall treasure them now that Kamen Rider has become the new leader in American Tokusatsu.

I am, but it feels flat this time though because with PR there were other adapts out there...

VRT...Beetleborgs...*cringe*...Masked Rider. Not to mention Syber Squad and an original toku in Mystic Knights.

I suppose you can call Aaron Stone, The Troop, and Skyrunners the next gen of toku....and the...English Version of Tiga...If Super isn't enough...Go Ultra.

Dragon Knights over in like 8 weeks and there has not been a single hint of anything "Rider" coming down the pipeline.

I disagree. Disney, yes. Saban, no. Look at PRiS-PRWF. All 5 season were fantastic.

Lemme put it like this:

"If you're ready for the transition from Rangers to Riders, gimme a Hell Yeah!"

Shows like KRDK tend to get an assessment of the future after the show is finished. So if we do get a second adaptation report, you won't expect it until after January 2010.

Yeah and there's a KRDK Special Event in January in Japan, so something could happen.
