Toku actor availability

it was stated in magazine scans where they interviewed the cast members. I was also *sort of* friends with Niwa Mikiho (GoseiYellow) during my time in Tokyo thanks to her good memory of remembering new faces and that radio show where fans were allowed to go to the studio to watch every Sunday... back to the topic, she has mentioned waking up at such times in person and even on her blog. I think I've seen a few other Sentai alumni who said so on their blogs as well.

EDIT: Right, Hikari and Kagura's actors are still in school. Tokatti and Mio's actors... well, let's say it's not common to see young actors/actresses in Japan going to college.

thats awesome you were friend's with her. She was one of kind. I want more of Moune to see what she can do fight wise outside of being with either Eri and Black. Sorry if I am rude to Gosei Black I just forgot his name is all.

And you're in Malaysia, awesome. Thats where I think the Bioman Dub came from.

Anyway, I didn't know they'd allow you to go the studio outside of being extras. USA Toku needs to get like that and not every single/10 conventions either. That would be awesome over here to do that.

All I know is over here at least through MMPR Productions was around they would wake our rangers up at 430/500 for make up and hair. 3am is pushing it. I can only imagine what its like going out the same night or night before, coming home at 1am and only get so many hours of sleep. I feel for them.

As for the college thing that hurts me man. I thought these are supposed to be role models? How do they put food on their table, roof over head and money in their pocket?

I remember one time on A Different World with Kinu, Dwaynes girlfriend she said something to the extent that some Japanese citizens had quit because of calliography or something like that. I know its a sitcom but I wonder if thats true.

How is it mocking though. Kagura voice and her hair are the only annoying thing other wise she was okay same with Gosei Black. Red aka Alata looked liked a straight up bitch. he was way too girly even for me. Light on the other hand reminds me of Alata but cuter...and masculine.

Hyde, Moune and Eri were acceptable.

I've read people calling Kagura "fugly" and with a "witch nose" on these boards.

not to mention that they have to wake up at about 3am every morning just to get to the filming site from their homes. on top of that, most recent Sentai and Rider actors/actresses are still JUNIOR HIGH/HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS who still have to show up for class after that!

Well then IMO, Toei should stick to casting people that are in their early 20's to their mid 20's.

There are ways. :)

Tokacchi's actor is 28 and a university graduate. And high school is not mandatory in Japan anyway, I doubt these guys get much sympathy there

Can we not call Alata's actor a "bitch"? And just how is Right more masculine?

I still think the worst Red of the 2010's is Hiromu. no hard feelings for those who beg to differ, but I just don't see that type of personality suitable for a Red. now, the problem with people's view on Arata and Right is none other than their looks. they think they're pussies because they look like girls. if you actually watched Goseiger, you would know that Arata has been a badass in his own right. he's not Captain Marvelous or Daigo (who isn't my favourite 2010's Red either), but he's still one of the better Reds IMO. can't comment much about Right yet, but so far I like what Kobayashi is doing with his character.

All three Go-busters were awful and miscast, IMO, and not just Hiromu. They definitely seemed like they belonged more in a "fake" Sentai show like Gransazer and not the real deal, or like they were last resorts after every other young actor in Japan turned the show down.

It's funny that Naomi Takebe has a reputation for putting together good casts, but she blew pretty much all of the casting choices in Go-busters, and I think that's a bit of evidence that she didn't have her heart in doing a Sentai show since she's a Rider person. When Magi Yellow is the best actor in the show, you have a problem.

IDK, Arisa Komiya is pretty much your standard teen idol that Sentai and Rider cast in the female roles every year? And after Gokaiger Toei's casting directive for Blue Rangers seems to be "Late 20s/early 30s guy who's only done stage work and bit parts and is looking for a career boost", Blue Buster's actor fits right in with that

If someone in Toei will be really all-out about this, I bet we can get Odagiri, Mizushima, Seto, Sato or anyone else.

Odagiri will not come back unless he gets to work with the same production team. He has said many times that he always wanted to do a Kuuga movie, but he does not like the way that Toei runs things, and he does not want to work with a staff that he dosen't get along with.
Actors like Odagiri and Hosokawa like to get involved in the production and come up with their own ideas. Its not just about the money.

Blue Buster was lead in a movie just before GoBusters aired.
