The Pro Wrestling Thread - No Gimmick Needed

Wow, what an interesting RAW show. Seth Rollins opening promo was a good way to kick off the show. He was intense and got huge heat clowning on Johnny Manziel. Ambrose/Sheamus was a decent match and I understand the finish. I guess we are seeing R-Truth's new gimmick now. I wonder who came up with this since it sounded like JTG came up with the "Little Jimmy" gimmick. Kevin Owens was definitely one of the highlights of the night. From his promo to his match against Ziggler. And then his powerbomb on MGK. Nice. Paige continues to lose the Bella Twins. I'm sure this is building up to something. The PTP and Neville vs New Day Match was not bad either. Of course Neville had to be the guy to do the finisher for the win. Lastly, glad Brock Lesnar is back! But what's the logical reason he is no longer suspended? Or did WWE forget about logic? Overall decent show. I don't hate it.

ROH's Best in the World PPV was awesome. Better than every WWE PPV this year except Mania. I am so glad Lethal is finally the World Champion.

Anyone else think Maria Kenellis has a great ass and Veda Scott has the body of a queen?

Oh man, this week's show was not good. The only things I enjoyed were the opening promo with Heyman and Brock, don't mind Kane beating Ambrose as it was to set up for later, Neville/Kingston was decent but wished it got more time. Of course I enjoyed the main event segment even though it dragged on for very long (15 minutes). Glad Lesnar got to do a lot more action here with him getting pummeled by The Authority. It's about time and was refreshing to see. However with everyone involved being heels, this is confusing on who to cheer for. And don't give me the "but fans are cheering for Brock so he's a face" thing. He's not a face.

Another segment that got me confused was the Bella Twins vs Naomi and Tamina match. Roles are confusing to define here. I still don't care about the Ziggler and Lana random pairing either. The Cena/Owens promo was fine but it might start getting repetitive here on out. Lastly, Reigns/Sheamus was having a decent match until that weird Wyatt segment. I get the point of it but this feels corny. But I guess we've seen cornier things back then.

I don't get it. Jeff Jarrett left TNA a year ago to form his own organization GFW and recently came back to win the first KOTM match and will go on to be inducted in the TNA Hall of Fame.

and the KotM title is just the TNA Legends/Global/TV title with a black strap... lmao
The last line of the short article that I've linked below says it best, IMO.
At least they're coming right out and admitting to the recycling, right?

Also, looks like Tyson Kidd got injured again (this time a neck injury). He apparently looks like he'll be out for a year or so, but he'll have a pretty wicked scar when he comes back.

Tyson's injury happened when he took Samoa Joe's muscle buster wrong a couple of weeks ago. Video taken showed that Joe did it perfectly it was just one of those freak accidents.
