That only works when you live in an area that has coverage by the networks that carry the WWE Network.

Case in point, when WWE Network first announced that Canadians would finally be able to subscribe, wrestling fans all over the country rejoiced. Then, on the day when we were supposed to be able to subscribe, the Canadian branch of WWE Network says "You have to be a customer of Rogers Cable or Eastlink" in order to subscribe. Well, Rogers Cable only exists in 3 provinces in the country, so people living in the other 7 provinces and 3 territories who would subscribe, cannot. Eastlink has a little more coverage, as they exist in parts of most of the eastern half of Canada. Still, that means that fans from around half of the country who would gladly subscribe are prevented from doing so.

You would think that the WWE would want to get as many subscribers as they possibly can, so it doesn't really make sense that they're not making the WWE Network available to everyone. Cutting off thousands, if not hundreds of thousands or even millions of potential subscribers just isn't a smart business move.

I believe another provider has picked up the Network in Canada now.

Unfortunately, nope. According to the Official Website, currently only people subscribing to Rogers Cable and Eastlink are able to get it.

If the WWE is negotiating with and/or if it is planning on making the Network available to other Canadian cable providers, they have not made any announcements about it yet.
